Barnes Truss On A Dana 44 Part-1

  • Lots of prepping and fitting of the nine pieces that make up the Barnes Truss. Pieces were tacked and TIG welded in place. Part-1 follows the process just short of the final step which is attachment to the axle tubes.

      Yes… last video shows it being replaced with a 1/4 inch Barnes…

    what putty did you use to protect the threads from weld spatter?

      Hi… I used electrical duct seal. Worked pretty good… then used plastic brush to wipe out. Good luck
