Man I can’t wait until the install on the Liberty and hitting dirt! 🙌🏼🙌🏼 Great explanation and demonstration, Nick!👌🏼👏🏼🙌🏼 Looking forward to the next episode! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Thank you!! I seen that on the KK group! Looks very good! I’ve probably got a month or two before this one is off jack stands! My work schedule sucks!!!
@@jeremywahl8544 $1500 for the axle, $1500 for the RCV axle shafts, $500 for the 5.13 gears, bearings and seals, probably another $500 or so in the unit bearings, ball joints, calipers, breaks, rotors and axle tube seals. And $300 in the truss and gusset kit. That’s $4,300 and doesn’t count for shop and welding supplies, paint, grease and oil. So, just a little bit of money in this axle 🤣🤣🤣
Professional explanation on the gear set-up. 42 thou (stock) pinion shim is usually on the money 90% of the time. Rarely do we have to adjust. Being how the pinion was marked, I would’ve bet 42 thou was on the money. Glad you took the time and got it dialed in. 5.13’s will test everything. With that being said, it was wise to put this one together on the “tight” end of the specs. Great job 🤙🤙🤙
@@millwright15 I get it. I don't think I'll own another Mopar personally. haha. But at least the Liberty looks good when they're lifted and on 31+ tires...
You know, I’ve been asked this several times as I already have a d60 and 10.5 sterling out of an ‘11 F250. My answer is the same every time. If I wanted to use full width axles, I’d build a full width rig. Which may happen. Who knows.
Lets get it done dad
I’m trying, little buddy!

Thanks, Mo! I appreciate it! I can’t wait to get this thing done so I can enjoy it and work on my next project!!
Pretty sweet axle my friend. Our KK build came off jack stands last night.

Awesome, Gonna be a killer Liberty!
How much did it cost you if I can ask?

Thank you! This one definitely fought me!
Dude, if you tear that axle up with an underpowered Liberty I’ll be very impressed. That axle is built for whatever you throw at it!
I’ve been known to tear up an anvil with a marshmallow hammer 🤣🤣🤣
I believe its overkill for the liberty. But better to build it right the first time than break it every time. 👍👍👍
Finally got time to watch this on my lunch break. Please tell me it didn’t really hold 5 gallons of gear oil 😂
Thanks for taking the time to watch it! And no, it didn’t really hold 5 gallons 🤣🤣🤣
@@millwright15 I was thinking the only way it would hold 5 gallons is if you forgot axle shaft seals!
Good video. I'm debating on putting a wagoner axle on my CRD liberty... This helps with inspiration..
Pretty jealous you have a CRD Liberty as I’ve been desperately trying to find one! Wagoner 44’s are pretty good options!
@@millwright15 The CRD's are a little overrated IMO.
I'm ready to go back to a Suzuki and just TDI swap it! 🤣
@@twisterad3 I still kinda want one. I hate the 3.7 in this thing!

For all of that work, why not just use a super duty Dana 60? Still, awesome work. Doubt you will tear up that axle on 37’s anyway.

@@millwright15 thanks for the reply. You could always narrow the d60. But I could see at that being as expensive as the axle you built.
Just fond your channel it's June 12, I'll wait for your next installment to decide to subscribe or not, kind of like what I've seen so far.
Hopefully the next video impresses!!!
For that amount of time and money I would’ve found a 05+ super duty Dana 60.
Saving my SD D60 for another build. Didn’t want to go full width with this rig.
@@millwright15 I can understand that. Interested to see what that build will be. Thanks for the reply!
¿Por qué no utilizar ejes de una tonelada? 🤔
No quería ir con ejes de ancho completo. Quería quedarme en stock de ancho de Jeep
