I was actually expecting Doc Robot to copy the MM2 Robot Masters and that we'd have to use the MM2 weaknesses... Although that would've made Metal Doc a BIT too easy...

Oh, by the way, I discovered, completely by accident, that Metal Blades fired diagonally forward and down can slip right under Ice-Doc's Slashers. Just wait for him to hit the ground, then let them fly.
@@SuperJustinChannel maybe time man and oil man would be fought at the same time, kinda like how in day in the limelight one, you fought flash man and bubble man at the same time aka in the wily stages
Doc Fire seems to have a similar pattern to an ActRaiser boss...the first one from Bloodpool, the manticore. Move up one side, spam projectiles. He doesn't leap to the other side and descend while spamming more, but that might mainly be to make the fight less easy...the ActRaiser protagonist, after all, does not have a spammable projectile weapon!
It just dawned on me that Iceman from the Megaman series has a striking resemblance to DC supervillain, Captain Cold. DC comics must've played an influencing role in this franchise, because they also have a master called Aquaman.

There are so many great ideas in this hack. The Doc Robot fights are so creative, rather than just rehashes of the original Robot Master battles.

I was thinking this too, but I knew that would be too good to be true. Shame it's the same fight(s) twice.
If they had access to 8-Bit Time and Oil sprites, I'm sure you'd fight Oil instead of the second Guts, and Time instead of one of the Elecs.
