    I realize y'all were probably parked at the end of the sidewalk but I do want to mention for all motorhome owners to keep in mind that people in wheelchairs and scooters count on the sidewalk remaining passable. We can't just pop off the curb if someone backs their vehicle over the sidewalk. Often we have to backtrack to the ramp then use the parking lot to get around the vehicle. Or most often we have to just be disappointed 😞 because our access ♿ is cut off.

    • @LivinRVision
      @LivinRVision  Год назад +4

      Not sure where you meant, but we never block access and stay mindful.

    • @seabliss22
      @seabliss22 Год назад +4

      @@LivinRVision It looked like y'all were backed over the sidewalk. Maybe just the camera angle. But it's still a good reminder for others. It happened at the RV show to me. One of the venders had the sidewalk blocked and I had to back all the way up and start over.

    • @LivinRVision
      @LivinRVision  Год назад +6

      Oh, no way, that is one thing that we NEVER do. That has always annoyed us both when people do that. Plus, we wouldn’t want our bikes hanging over the sidewalk either where they were more easily accessible to mess with.

    Thank you for the trip along Highway 20 to the North Cascades. We lived a little northeast of Seattle for 27 years (just retired and moved to Arizona). Summer in Western Washington is spectacular. We rented a tent trailer back in about 1999 and took our daughters camping along Highway 20. Our first stop was Newhalem Creek campground. It’s still one of our all time favorite place. If you ever have the opportunity to be back in that area be sure to drive further east to Washington Pass. The overlook there is no less than amazing. Thanks for bringing back some amazing memories!

    I’ve lived in the Pacific Northwest all my life. I loved this video and watching you drive through areas I know so well. You also hit some spots that I’ve never seen before that will be added to our travels. Multnomah Falls is beautiful in every season. Sometimes the flow of water is so heavy you can hear it from a great distance and in the winter when there’s ice it’s hard to describe the beauty and forces of nature. I’m happy you were able to enjoy this part of our gorgeous country.

    • @LivinRVision
      @LivinRVision  Год назад +1

      We really like the Grech Strada-Ion as we have mentioned before, and as we always do with every RV that we have had, we also make sure everyone knows that what works for one person doesn’t mean it will work for another. Your life in an RV is likely different than someone else’s, especially ours with the way we travel & work. If we didn’t like it, we would be very transparent about it. Much like we have mentioned that Michelle wishes it had a bigger bathroom. That being said, when you buy an RV or switch to another…you’re always sacrificing something to get something else that is more important to/for “you”. We can only say what has and does work for “us” and can not be responsible for someone choosing something that didn’t work for them, based on what did for us. But from our experiences, we hope that they help others make a decision for themselves if they are “on the fence” about what may work for them.

    If you have time do the Bonnieville Dam along the Columbia River. Sturgeon spawn in the river...some used to be in view on the Oregon side I believe. Fish ladders for salmon and steel head and history of construction available. Town up stream flooded to build dam.

    Wow, Washington is beautiful! I was not expecting that color water at all, very pretty. That burger dinner was pretty expensive 😮. The waterfall was so beautiful! Do you ever cook in the van? Besides maybe your lunch during the week? Is it kind of inconvenient because of how small the van is? Just curious since you’ve never shown either of you really cooking in there. 🤔

    • @LivinRVision
      @LivinRVision  Год назад

      We actually do and have shown ourselves cooking at least a couple times so you must have missed those videos. It’s not something that we want to repeatedly show in our videos though. However, we haven’t been cooking dinner in it much lately due to our rush in the evenings to get footage before it gets dark. Getting something quick somewhere usually is quicker for us when we are in a rush. But yes, we have shown it like we said but something like that is to repetitively boring to the majority of our viewers to keep showing. We figure that people see the space and should be able to see how easy or hard it is to cook without showing over and over. The Class B is intended for those that want the conveniences and not so much for full-time living. We are just putting it through the test to see how well it holds up and… how we hold up using it to live in over time.😂

    That water color is an amazing color. I'd love to dive right into it. Do they typically frown on swimming in the parks? Michelle did win the lottery with you Brian, or is that the other way around? 🤔 😄

      State or National Parks or the campgrounds? Neither, we just hardly ever get time to enjoy them.
      More the other way around for sure! 😊

    Need to stop eating out all the time. Last night we had a tuna club, hot dog and 2 ice teas. $54. ( in new england) That to me is food for several days if we make it ourselves.

    • @LivinRVision
      @LivinRVision  Год назад

      Yep, we feel the same. Our problem is when we are in a hurry to fill before dark sometimes. It is quicker for us sometimes to grab something somewhere. We realize we don’t leave the camera on and show the details of our constant rush, we just talk about it at times. We have been trying to eat more healthier since this timeframe traveling through the west, once our rush slowed down and we were able to eat dinner in the Class B. Our lunch during the week when we work is always prepared in the Class B. Eating out really adds up, but sometimes it’s needed.

      @@LivinRVision~ I always cut my meal in half and only eat half. Save the other half for leftovers for the next day's meal. When you are over mid 50's is better to cut down on the quantity of food we eat.
