I threw the Goat ToadZ for the first time in March. The Mustad KVD EWG Grip Pin hook is a perfect match. Now three of my five largest bass have been caught with the Goat ToadZ - including one 9-pounder - all from the same local creek. I've caught fish on the same ToadZ on multiple days...it just keep catching until the chin ripped out. Throw it right on top of the pennywort mats; make a little hop into the water as close to the edge as you can. Wait a couple seconds then give it a good pop or two, and brace for the blowup. Tip: Start your hook a little bit below dead center on the front end...it'll plane out quicker on the retrieve and make that great bubble trail.

Can you explain a little more how you rig it? Mine seems to land upside down too often
