I love it! My two biggest pieces of advise for those organizing their craft rooms, or any room where you have to fit a lot of things: Use the vertical space, and have some storage that is covered! I've had the same craft room for 20 years and I used to think it was too small and made me look and feel like a hoarder. I had a lot of shelves just jammed with stuff. Recently I overhauled it by putting the shelf units on top of base cabinets to get compartments of storage all the way to the ceiling while having some spaces covered by doors/drawers or contained in bins. It was a game changer. Taking everything out and reconfiguring the room took an entire weekend, and then it took about 6 weeks to get everything exactly where it makes the most sense for my workflow, but finally at 52 I feel like I have a functional, spacious, and somewhat visually appealing craft room. Another piece of advise: don't hoard. If you haven't used it in years, you're probably not going to use it.
Jelly of your room.I collect house mouse clear and wooden stamps.I have a 6x9(I think)room and have about the same amount of stuff.I just wish my room was the size of yours...
Beautiful craft room, oh I hope you have a new wonderful craft room as well, we downsized in homes and I’ve found that I have a lot of crafts supplies , but it will be done . After all we are creative rt😊
It's a beautiful, well- organized room! At 12:25, do you make your own dividers? What do you use? And what do you use Press n Seal for? I use wax paper for a page setup that I can see through.
Ive been rearranging and reorganizing my craft room over and over again for almost 10 years lol. We've been in our current house for almost 4, and I've rearranged it like 6 times 😂 I'm actually working on a project to build an entire wall of shelving (think cube storage but extra sturdy) and hopefully that should get the last of my stuff actually organized and out of boxes/random piles. I'm really fighting this need for a room that is pleasing to look at but also suits my need to see everything while crafting 😅
What a great and organized craft room you have. Do you know what size of room you will have when you move? My original craft room is in the smallest bedroom of my house. When my son moved out a couple of years ago I transferred a lot of stuff to that bedroom, it’s bigger. I need to organize both rooms, but I have to do it on the cheap. All of those Ikea drawers are not in my budget. I wish they were.
Can you do a video explaining the overhead iPad for recording? The shaking is what’s preventing me from buying the Arkon. Too much money spent on something when I’d get a lot of shaking.
Your craft room is a crafter's dream and just so organized and beautiful. I'm new to crafting and just got my Cricut Maker and Joy and am so excited and now you have inspired me even more! thanks so much for sharing.♥
What a wonderful craft space, and so sensibly organized!! ☺️ I take delivery of my final few Ikea products (that were out of stock at my Ikea), on December 6 and I can’t wait to set up my very first craft room 👏🏻so excited!! I think I may replay your lovely storage systems for inspiration while figuring out mine.😆 Thanks ever so much for sharing your gorgeous personal space!🥰
Your craft room is huge, Kari! I showed a little to my husband to prove I don’t really have as much stuff as he says I do! 🤣 I’m going to try and find those cup cozies on Ellen Hutson! So cute!!!
Aren't those bear cozies cute?! I have a video coming soon. Here's the link if you want to check it out: bit.ly/3fpKf1C I read your comment to my husband and he rolled his eyes! Lol. (I have a lot of stuff...too true! But I've been downsizing!)
Your craft room is simply divine! You organized it so beautifully, and very functional. It was a delight to tour your craft room, and thank you for sharing! I just subscribed, as I know I can learn a lot from you! Thank you, again.
Hello , This was super fun I had a blast watching ☺️I have a craft space and hopes if we ever move! God willing ! My husband said, I will get my very own room 😄
I got that from Amazon, but I can't find the link right now. If I can track it down, I will share it with you. It's a good one-- the neck of it is very sturdy (unlike some of them I have purchased) so it doesn't shake the camera as easily.
Such a wonderful room filled with your creative energy and love! ❤️🧡💛💚🦋💜 I know your new room will be just as beautiful! Don’t be sad to let stuff go, if your next one is a smaller room...you’ll be happy you did! Can’t wait to see it when you’re all organized! 🤗
WOW fantastic craft room 🥰 I love it. I hope you are going to have a good size craft room in your new place ❤ thanks for sharing and happy crafting Hugs xx
Thank you, Joan! I had a great time filming that video and I miss my large crafting space already! My new space is not as big, but there is something good in downsizing, right? :)
What a beautiful space to create in! I love how organized and bright everything is. Loving the picture of Jesus on the wall and all of the meaningful artwork. P.S. I have the exact same blue studded chair(s) for my kitchen table!
Awesome craft room - thank you for sharing it! Could you tell me how wide/deep you desk where you film us? I am redoing my space and everything I find looks so narrow, but yours looks great.
What an awesome craft room tour! I’m so inspired, I’m working on my craft room right now and looking for tips on how to store little things like nuvo drops and Inks. I found your video so helpful! What dividers/baskets do you use for your drawers?
Good luck!! I feel like a craft space is always changing and I'm constantly organizing! Lol. But I thought I'd better get my video made even if it's not perfect yet. I am still searching for my favorite drawer organizers, I have some from Amazon and Bed, Bath & Beyond as well as random ones that I've had for years. I love the clear ones the most!
I just found your channel and I am so excited to binge watch! Can you share what you have in your cart for your Copic Markers? Thank you so much for sharing your space, very inspirational. I have to be organized in order to enjoy it so I really appreciated seeing how you have your workflow area set up, etc.
I love your room. Hope your new home brings you joy. Btw, that little frog that you colored is just too cute. Is that a stamp? I love it. New subbie here. Hugs, Diana.
It's in the works! I LOVE that frog. But in the meantime, check out the mini class by Sweet Sentiment www.sweetsentiment.us/shop/p/mini-class-got-a-bug It's a great class.
Kari, is this in your new home? Beautiful layout. Love your different color combinations of your Got a Bug Frog. Do you happen to have which markers you used for the yellow one?
I wish this was my new home...this is my last craft studio that I loved! I'm now in a little smaller space, but it still works. ;) I'm sorry I didn't write down what colors I used on the frogs. I will have to test out colors to see!
Thank you! It's hard to say what my favorite 12x12 paper pad is...I love paper and I have SOOOO much of it. I think among my favorites are Echo Park & Crate Paper, I have some Jen Hadfield designs I love, and oh there's so many I love. What's your favorite?
It's a storage holder made specifically for Copics, but the seller has discontinued making them (temporarily, I think). It's called Old Grey Barn on Etsy. You might be able to find similar organizers on Etsy for now.
Now that I know where you hide your chocolate all I need is your address please lol love your craft room! I really love those shelves your husband made so I took a picture of them show my son! Oh and most of all, I am super in love with that picture of Jesus! I love his hands folded in the shape of a heart and everything about it.

I am doing the same thing and it is really a challenge!
Fyi... the tim holtz tins for the full size distress inks fit in the deeper bottom drawers of the wide alex drawers.
What is the container that you have your cardstock scraps in? That looks sturdy and perfect for that purpose!

Beautifully organized. Where do you find the card bags. I need a supply. Thanks
Beautiful room! Can you add what and where you purchased the shallow clear trays you have in your wide alex drawers?
Your shelve your husband made are gorgeous. But I like the clear case you have your doubers standing in . Would like to know where you got those from.
Very nice craft room

Thanks for sharing your space. Can you link to the actual arm you are using with your tablet to film? Thanks much
Hi. Great tour of your craft room...where did you get the iPad holder that’s on your working table (not the black arkon one). Thx

@Rocky Road Creations It is a stamp set from The Rabbit Hole Designs called Got a Bug.
@@bertas-cards I just went and ordered it from Simon Says Stamp.

Not certain, but it looks like she’s using the scrapbook.com cases that are used to store Nuvo drops and Stickles. I love that idea, also.
That's amazing! I like your designing. 😮
Beautiful ❤️
