you all prolly dont give a damn but does anybody know of a method to log back into an Instagram account..? I somehow lost my login password. I appreciate any tricks you can offer me.
@Ricky Zaire I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm trying it out now. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Thanks for sharing, I have been crafting since I was 17, I am now 67. I started painting then scrapbook albums , cards and now I enjoy making journals . I am redoing my craft room, I do wish it looked as neat and organized as yours. But its a work in process.
It definitely takes a lot of time and energy to get organized! My husband is excellent at it and has helped me set up and reorganize several times. It’s often really easy to get overwhelmed when you have so much to keep neat!
Laura, beautifully done! The most important thing about ANY creative space is that it's organized to make sense to the one who creates there, and you have obviously found just what system works for you! Can you tell me what brand your Matte Mat is? I have 5 or 6 different mats and they ALL get that light ring or glare from the lights...even my self healing mats. I could tell when your lights were on that you had none of that. i would love to go check out the mat!! Thanks again for taking the time to share! Marianne
Thank you very much, Marianne! I completely agree! Finding a system that works for the way you create is so helpful! The mat I use is from Fiskars and it's a silicone mat in 18x24" and I love it! It's great for easy clean-up of mixed media and love that it removes the glare from my table top as well.
Loved the tour! I think that it is important to know your organization style. I like to see what I have as well. Definitely not the way my husband would prefer but it works for me as a creative. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you! Yes! I am active scrapper, so I prefer open and clear storage so I can find things pretty quickly. It allows me to be more efficient! That said, it’s not usually this clean, I am a piler...there are always piles on every surface which drives my husband crazy. 😂
OMG Laura Your Craftroom is so Beautifully Done..I mean you so did a Super Incredible Creative job with everything. The Decor is so comfy cozy....I love too that you actually use everything in your room and the colors are so soft and pretty. I love too how everything is easy accessable....that's so important you don't have to move this to get to that etc. I really, REALLY love your room. TFS this was so much fun!! YOU SO ROCK!! Joan Smith
Thank you very much, Joan! Yes, accessibility is key for me! I do not want to have to take apart my room to find one thing! I also love seeing my supplies and being able to get to them quickly and easily.
Thank you very much, Zeffy! I scrapbook nearly every day and so my room must be very accessible and welcoming! I hope you and your family stays safe as well!
I love those 31 File Folder, I have 3 of them, lol! I would also buy more if I found them! Your room is so organized, 💕 and is so pretty! I have a lighter shade of green in my room💕💕
Thank you very much, Pat! Yes! It's such a wonderful bag and super helpful in a craft room. I try to keep it very clean and organized so that I can find things quickly.
I like calling it a pokey tool too!! I have that same cart from michael's. I rearranged the shelves that latch on the sides. I keep supplies for current projects.
Yes! It's a cute name, even if it's not the "actual name." I like the peg board on the Michael's cart, but I wish it matched up with the IKEA containers too!
I enjoyed your craft room tour. It is always fun/interesting to see how other crafters organize/think. We all end up with a similar product but have different methods of getting there. thank you.
Thank you, Curry! I love watching tours too! It's great to see how others work with the spaces they have and to find new ideas to try! So true that we all end up with similar product but find different solutions for organizing it!
Hi Laura - I am really taking note of your items close to you that you use regularly. Love your honestly with how your craft room normally looks - man I wish I could post a pic of mine but I am trying to be more organized but hey I know where stuff is😂 Can you out the link for your lights from Amazon- Happy Crafting
I really think that keeping things I use most often close to me is super helpful when scrapping! Here's a link to the lights I'm currently using: amzn.to/3h5hJFw I really like them because they are nice, bright, clean light without taking up a ton of space on my desk.
On the mint green cart from Michael's where you said that you didn't know what that was for, is probably for thread or wire spools. I do both sewing and wire jewelry so that is what I'd use them for. I don't think there is a right or wrong way to use that area, just wanted to give you an option that I'd use them for..
Oh good thinking, thank you, Tina! I just couldn't figure out why there were so many of those when they really aren't that useful (unlike say a container or a tray would be).
Oh My Goodness Laura! You have quite the amazing stash! Thank you for inspiring us with your storage and organizing solutions... i may have drooled over your cocoa Vanilla collection! ❤️
I love your room! You have so many supplies. 😊 I have the same sewing machine and love it! I’m not really much of a sewer, so this was a good machine for me. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you, Sally! After 20 years of scrapping, I've definitely accumulated quite a lot. I did a huge purge about a year ago and am down to the collections I really love and have the room to store. I am determined to make a dent in the stash in 2021 though!
I love your room Laura! Great storage ideas and organization. Love how you store your stencils!!! I am a new subscriber. I look forward to seeing more videos on your channel. Thanks for sharing! 💓Jill
I was soooooo happy to see this video! I love seeing all the similarities and differences in people's craft rooms. I was thinking of doing something similar in regards to stencil organization, creating a binder. I love that your raskog has the pegboard siding, that'd be nice to have. I loooooove your craftroom! Thanks for the tour!
Yay! I'm so glad you enjoyed it, Diana! I've been working really hard on cleaning it up and getting everything organized, so relieved to finally have it in ship-shape...for now anyway. Lol!
Enjoyed watching your tour!! I am so disorganized myself! I really need to get more organized so I can find everything! I see that you organize by like things. Some organize by color, like Janet. I haven’t figured out yet what works best for me, I just need to get started! Ha!
Thank you, Michele! I think the first step is to really evaluate how you scrap. When you need an extra embellishment, do you think, “I need an ephemera piece” or “I need something pink” or “I need that Maggie Holmes piece”? I tend to think of the last one, so I can pull that whole collection out for that piece. I mostly use the random stuff for kits and so they are all easy to access, so I can flip through everything quickly and easily. I do not like searching my stash, I want to be able to find things quickly. With things in categories by type, I can quickly flip through my options without taking apart my craft room to get to it.
Thank you, Colleen! My craft room in my sanity saver, 100%, so it needs to be as accessible as possible. I hate taking apart my room to find one specific thing, I need to see everything!
Thank you. I love your organisation style. Do you have a video on making your own kits? I must check your playlist! My room is definitely a work in progress!! 😃
As I watch these videos showing a ton of supplies for crafts I’m totally unfamiliar with, my crafting storage issues seem so minor! To say I have been “out of the loop” for years would be putting it mildly!
Understandable! I felt that way in 2017 when I discovered scrapbooking on RUclips, but trying out designer collections from American Crafts changed my creative process and excited me to scrap again! I did go overboard that year in building up a stash and being on Design Teams for the last 4 years has definitely built up my stash a lot more, but I enjoy having the variety and finding new treasures every time I search through my stuff! I have started building stash kits this year to really push myself to use older collections too.
It came from Tuesday Morning a few years back and is made by Punch Studios. I haven't seen them in that store since, but they are available online. It was only $10 at Tuesday Morning, but I think they run $29 online: www.punchstudio.com/product/globes-desk-caddy/
Thank you very much, Kari! It's such a lovely retreat from the chaos, you know? Sometimes, just sitting in this space and being surrounded by all of the beautiful things is so calming.

Thank you, Delores! Yes, my craft room is what I like to call a "working craft room" because I'm in it creating daily. Everything needs to be organized and accessible, not necessarily pretty. I agree with you, there are some rooms that blow my mind just for the sheer volume of all the things they maintain. Others are so minimal that I think I would get bored. It's finding that happy medium that works for your style of creating that really makes the space best for you.
No. The purpose of this video is to show how to organize craft supplies. If you're a regular viewer of my channel, you would know that I create 250-300 layouts/projects a year. I love that your craft room looks like one that actually gets used! Loving your stash and getting some great organising tips from you x
Thank you, LuluFae! Yes! I scrap every day and I prefer open storage for easy access. I am so glad it was helpful!

Thank you very much, Ann! It is so much easier to find the things I need when it's organized, that's for sure.

I've had a lot of requests for it and knowing I needed to film a tour meant it motivated me to clean it all up! I hope it was helpful!
I am just getting set up, I’d love to see you work in this yummy space! 💖🦩
Thank you! It's been a real joy to work in my first real space that's all to myself!

Thank you, Sylvia! This room has become such a retreat from the chaos of the world, so thankful to have this space.
Your room is a beautiful space!!! Love it!!! Tfs!!!
Thank you very much, Kari! It's such a lovely retreat from the chaos, you know? Sometimes, just sitting in this space and being surrounded by all of the beautiful things is so calming.
Excellent
Thank you very much! It's been a wonderful space to work in.
Great video! Lots of inspiration for me. Could you please tell me the name of the lights you use on your desk? The lighting in my room is terrible and I have a ring light but I’m not happy with it. Thanks from down under 🇦🇺
Thank you, Sara! Those are Neewer Dimmable Desk Lights from Amazon. They come in a 2-pack here in the US and have a nice bright, cool light tone that I really like.

Divided clear acrylic containers--where can I purchase them?? Thanks
I got these on Amazon and they are by mDesign. RUclips has been fussy about me posting links in the comments, but if you look up mDesign organizer container, a variety of them should come up.
That's amazing! I love your decoration. 😍
Thank you very much! It's a lovely space to work in.
Thanks for sharing! I love seeing other peoples creative spaces.
Does your photo printer print other sizes of photos? Or just the 4 x 6?
I have a Canon Selphy but would love a printer that printed larger sizes.
The Epson Picturemate prints 5x7s as well, which is nice! I really like the quality of the Picturemate.
Hi Laura - new subscriber here...I love your craft room - especially your Book of Mormon. :-)
Thank you very much! It's my peaceful space, for sure. Yes, must have my scriptures within easy reach.
Love it!
This is my happy place! I love being surrounded by all of the beautiful things and be able to see them!
Wow! Nicely done room! I love it! BUT, I am truly and honestly interested in knowing how all this is obtained so quickly by many of you younger gals!
