    After watching this video, I immediately bought the textbook and workbook to prepare myself before class starts (a full-time class in March!).

    I loved your video. The Trail Guide came included with my massage program. I just graduated this month. I bought the workbook for the trail guide as well as the MBLEx study guide. I take my MBLEx soon.

      The trail guide is definitely needed if you get a lot of anatomy questions

    Thank you so much for this video, i live in Ohio and currently in University. My major is Intergraded health studies and hoping to go to graduate school to become a PA. However, I have a interest in massage therapy! Do you think it’s possible to do massage therapy school while doing my undergrad? I’m currently a sophomore… I also am a African American male and idk if there is a stigma or stereotypes in the industry that I want to be aware of? Thank you!

      @nursed2recovery  2 года назад +3

      Hey, these are great questions, honestly it would depend on how many classes you are taking at a time , also how familiar with anatomy you are at this time, I feel like it might be alot on your plate , also I feel like being a male in this field does have a stigma , however there are also people that prefer male therapist. So it can be fine however if people prefer women therapist I wouldn't take it personally.

      Massage school is very demanding it’s best to finish your program then enroll. It’s very intense as far as physical endurance. You have to learn how to balance your center of gravity which will require a lot of leg and feet endurance.

    Would you recommend the night class over the day class for students who are a bit slower learners?

    • @nursed2recovery
      @nursed2recovery  Год назад

      Honestly, I'm not sure if I can answer this correctly for you. However, the night class would definitely give you more time in between class days.

      Try a mobile massage therapist. You will get more of a quality massage.

      Thanks for the advice. I think I will stick with my medication and my doctors advice to stretch more often. I move my elderly mother in and just don't feel comfortable doing a mobile therapy. Thanks for the advice though.

      I would look for a place near you that has good reviews and offer " sports massage" . That would be the best modality for individuals who are very active / in a sport. Thank you for watching!
