This was very helpful, I’m just getting into it now at 42 years old and it would seem like going in straight is the safest way but I need to learn how to go in rolling at an angle, if I want to improve. Oh, by the way there’s a passed out person laying in the back of the truck

If you drop straight in your chainring will hit the coping on most ramps, at 45 degrees your chainring willclear every time
On a 9 foot quarter with about a foot of vert, can you still roll in to the side like shown here, or would you need to hop completely over the coping in?

I live in a small town with only a 6 foot half pipe with coaping and my first time dropping in I just sent it on an angle lol and aired out but on the air out I meant to much to one side and fell
