- BEENLEIGH SKATEPARK SESSION! Got a couple hours in riding Beenleigh. Kim jumped on the bike for a little cruise around too which was cool! Ended the day with a pretty decent crash which is never fun but I was injury free which was good!

@@willsanctuary6626 I'm fully on board with the helmet crowd, but Scotty was wearing a helmet when he crashed. He suffered a traumatic spinal cord injury which not even a helmet will protect you from. But who knows, he might've straight up died if he wasn't wearing one.
Best lesson anyone can learn from Scotty's crash is to always scout out your lines before riding them.
It's better to wear a helmet and never need it, than need one and not be wearing it...
I can safely say a helmet saved my life, Still cost me my riding. But hate to have seen what out come would have been with out one,

Me & my 23 year old daughter ride stakeparks all over where we live in the states ,I just so happened to keep all of my old school Haros I had back in the late 80s & early 90s , my Haros are a 1987 Haro sport freestyler , a 1988 FSX , a 1989 Haro Team Master with bash guard , a 1990 Haro air Master with the refine plastic bash guard , & a 1992 Haro Master with bash guard . I ride the 1990 Air Master only because my daughter loves the 1989 Team Master . She’s been riding the Team Master since she could ride a bike , let us just say it was her first bike & she’s learned a lot of great tricks on her own & she’s not shy to flatland ,street & vert . I’ve seen her get 6 feet out of the coping on a 12 foot vert ramp with no problem & even higher . She’s equal with her old man of a father , I’m 47 & can still hang with these new generation BMXers . It cool to see the reaction on guys faces when she busts out a big air or a cool trick , it blows there minds like ( dude that was a girl that did that & I can’t even do that trick ) . Growing up her mama was so worried she’d get hurt bad doing what she loved but it all worked out , no broken bones no stitches just some bruises & scrapes tough little chick & she’s only 4 foot 11 inches tall . We often twin on vert ramps witch is fun I’m working on a flair bar spin just can stick the landing yet but it will come to me soon .
