    1. What the s&p 500 is
    - Now this has been around in some way since 1923 and it use to be called the composite index (90 companies)
    - But then later in 1957 when I was born, they expanded it to 500 companies.
Now the basic idea is this:
    - The s&P 500 is made up of the 500 largest companies in America
    - And because these 500 companies are so big they account for almost 80% of the entire US market
    - So a great way to track the performance of the US market is to track the s&p 500
Basic Idea: when you invest in index fund that is trying to mirror the standard and poor 500 index, it's just trying to track the market
Ps. Average return for the s&p has been 8-12%
    - So if you bought it 10 years ago and invested $1000 a month you would have today 235K
    - That’s why the saying says, the best time to plant a tree, was 25 years ago. ( so start now )
    2. How can you invest into the s&p 500
    - The answer you don’t ( actually not the official one that you see)
    - What you do invest into though is in other companies that create funds, that mirror exactly what the s&p does, and also for example ETFs
    - So you buy those and the manager of those funds are in charge of tracking that index ( not beat It but just track it )
    Quick Explanation:
    - An index fund, is a type of mutual fund, where the manager is focused on tracking an index or just mirroring it
    - And etf is just an exchange-traded fund, that’s literally traded on the stock exchange, and can fluctuate, but you can also buy ones that are trying to mirror an index
    3. Which platform is best for Buying the S&P 500
    - In reality, they are all pretty much the same
    - They are all just trying to mirror the index
    - So I would go with the company that fits you best
    For example:
    - Vanguard has: VFIAX
    - Fidelity has: FXAIX
    - Schwab has: SWPPX
    Which one do I use:
    - I use Vanguard they basically invented the index fund
    - They have great customer service
    - And and even bigger reputation to protect
    Cons:
    - Vanguard has a minimum investment of $3000 while the other companies don’t have a minimum investment to attract more customers.
    - But you can avoid the minimum, by investing in it with a retirement account
    However:
    - If you do open a retirement account with vanguard, you don’t have to worry about the retirement fund
    - But its up to you which ones you pick
    - Or just pick the etf option vanguard provides
    4. Me Personally
    - I wish someone would join this space and make the platforms a lot more user friendly
    - Its hard to set automated transfer, automated rebalancing, and for example even dynamic rebalancing
    - Its space just needs a little more innovation
    Me Personally:
    - This is only 38% of my portfolio because the US market is great but its doesn’t mean you should put all your eggs in that one basket
    - If you want to know what I put the rest of the money into

I have a 3 fund portfolio consisting of 33% S&P, 33% Total stock, and 33% international. I feel a need to focus on complete growth so I went 100% stocks, but does the SP500 and TSM overlap too much to make sense holding both? However I’ve been in the red for a month now. I work hard for my money, so investing is making me a nervous sad wreck. I don’t know if I should sell everything, sit and just wait but watching my portfolio of $450k dwindle away is such an eye -sore.

There are many other interesting stocks in many industries that you might follow. You don't have to act on every forecast, so I'll suggest that you work with a financial advisor who can help you choose the best times to purchase and sell the shares or ETFs you want to acquire.

I agree, that's the more reason I prefer my day to day investment decisions being guided by an advisor seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using my advisor for over 2years+ and I've netted over 1.8million.

I have challenged myself to put away 50% of my monthly income into stocks which is quite easy since I live frugal without debt. I work as an account executive, and make over $20000. $10000 goes into dividends, and the other $10000 covers my my food plus living expenses. I am seeing improvements in my portfolio, dividends look certain, but I have to attribute this to only to guidance of a licensed fund manager who allocates funds to a plethora of assets. I have to stay disciplined, and remember that I’m in it for the long term. Just got my first property and hopefully looking to get another down the road. Good luck to everyone and thanks for the great video.

I admire the financial independence of people, But you can live better if you work a little more. After watching this I think there are people out there, on the extreme, who plan to die early just to be able to retire early. To each their own but to me, retirement isn't just about not having to work, it's about having the freedom to do whatever you might reasonably want, such as travel, buying things, enjoying life, etc. I don't think I could retire with less than $3m in income-generating investments, maybe $2m at the very minimum. I plan to work until I'm at least 45

Wall Street pitched so-called quality stocks with high profitability and low debt, as a kind of insurance against whatever the economy might throw at you. Quality stocks have underperformed the S&P500 this year, waiting may not be the best decision for investors. It might sound basic or generic, but getting in touch with a financial adviser was how I was able to outperform the market and raise a profit of $650,000 since Jan 2022. For me, its the most ideal way to jump into the fin-market these days.

Most experienced traders like Mr Elvis Hercules, would prefer to get the proper skills to analyze price charts in order to make their own trading decisions, but many traders, especially amateur traders, are still wondering really whether they accelerate their successful trading using only signaling services, don't get me wrong. Signals are good, especially if you find the right one, but it would also be wise if traders can analyze price charts positively and accurately and good trading results. If we take a close look at some of the main reasons people cannot make money investing / trading online. whether it is trading stocks, binary options, forex or cryptocurrencies, you will find that the problem is that traders are lazy and too dependent signaling services, and also do not understand the trade before starting it. So just in case it is best if traders, especially those who are still learning and practicing trading, should know these tips before entering any online investment scheme: 1. Use a signaling service. ... 2. Learn to use technical indicators. . 3. Trade stocks before trading binary options trading security. .. 5. Buy options of the right length for your trading style. For additional tips and trading strategies that can bring you $ 20-40 thousand per 4. Track your performance for each option month, contact him by mail, as He is ready to show interested traders, both beginners and professionals, how to trade with confidence and achieve success... and amateurs how to trade confidently and make good profits using strategies that fetches $ 20k$ 60k per month!!
