This is a great bag. I am more looking for one that is worldwide but this would be a great option for certain airlines. I LOVED the compression, that is what sold it for me. Great video. Thank you for keeping us up to date on our options.
This bag is so full of surprises, l love the way you get unexpected extra little goodies in the bag. You are having an influence on us all, the other day a friend was packing for a trip away and l had him buy packing cubes ..well done on an other professional and great review
One bag travel is addictive and one bag carry-on travel obviously more so. I have been a proponent of one bag travel for over two decades. The other day I was in Target (I don't shop often but...) and I was within earshot of their luggage department. I heard a couple discussing luggage and as the extrovert that I am I said _"hello and you're going for a trip yada yada"_ .. we chatted for a few minutes and I suggestive the carry-on size. The lady immediately volunteered that they had a certain level of status with the airline and therefore checked bags were free. I then pointed out that it's not about the cost but the hassle of lugging huge suitcases when you don't need to. I asked them how many times they have to go from the gate to the carousel to wait for their luggage then have to lug their luggage directly to the hotel or over cobblestones or paying for an Uber. They both nodded yes. I then said _"wouldn't it be lovely to just have your small convertible or wheeled carry-on and stop by and interesting coffee shop or cafe to have a bite as you take in your new destination?"_ . I then wished them happy travels. I saw them at checkout and they had two carry-on sizes and they thanked me for my input! Trust me, from opinions on luggage to using packing cubes to whether or not you should roll or fold your clothes. These are all words of wisdom from consummate travelers!
I’ve been considering a pro carry on with that front pocket - I’m tempted by the new Beis collection but not sure I want to spend that much - this looks like a great option! Thank you for the review!
You make a really good point concerning gate checking a pro bag. I would point out that those "ditches" at the bottom of the bag are perfect for packing hand and surface wipes, an umbrella, lingerie mesh bags for washing machine loads, a neck wallet, and similar. My overseas trips are 4-7 weeks and I need extras that short trips don't require. I always use the ditches for extra packing space and those items stay in the bag after I unload the packing cubes at my destinations. Thanks for your comprehensive videos, they have all the right info. to help viewers make smart decisions.
I like the inside and good price. I saw a carry on without the pocket on their website. One issue - only comes in black like all the other suitcases out there. Hopefully they will do more colors soon.

I was checking out their other models as I watched your video and for $10 less they have what is called the armadillo which does not have the laptop pocket _(which I am not a fan of - to say the least)_ . So... for $179 dollars you get a very well-designed polycarbonate carry on with Hinomoto spinner wheels and YKK zippers!?! And 10% off *THEKELLYS10* ! *This is definitely a good find Lauren!*
I leave for a business trip to New Orleans in August and I’m hoping to attempt to pack carry on only but worried I’ll need to pack extra clothes to change due to the crazy humidity in the summer :-/
I’m on a bit of a Beis hiatus. They still haven’t made it international sized, and they don’t want to work with me, so I don’t want to pay to review something I can’t ever use. I do like the flexible pocket though.
Love this and all of your videos! I was hoping to see you test this bag outside like you have done with others for how it rolls across various pavements and your durability tests.
I really only test the crazy durability when a suitcase claims to have a special power. I don’t want to damage one that I haven’t used yet, unless it’s to test it’s claims
It’s a nice bag but I’m not really happy as to how much they copied Monos but made it cheap with less quality. Thanks for showing us all the travel option tho. It’s really helpful.
I don’t think there’s any lack in quality whatsoever. In fact, the outer pocket is a bit better in my opinion. Perhaps they just don’t mark it up as high as the bigger companies do.
I just purchased the set, and contacted the owners of the company to ask about the compression cubes, because they were sold out… Let me tell you, their customer service is TOP NOTCH! They added extra inventory to ensure I could get the cubes too. I’m very impressed! And they are SO friendly. Bonus points because they’re based in Falls Church, VA - just up the road from me (local small business FTW!h). I actually told them I was just about to buy the Monos until I saw this video, and they informed me that the bags are actually manufactured in the same factory as Monos! I fully believe the quality will be, at a minimum, equal after my discussion with them and watching this review! Such a great find, Lauren! Thank you!!
