Wicked story man. What i have learned is its the people around you that make it possible to achieve the dreams as a normal person in this world. If yiu have amazing and supportive family/friends you can knock off that bucket list. A tolerant wife is KEY.
Nice to see another rx8 featured. Mine is used for autocross, HPDE, time attack, and SCCA hillclimbs. Street driven to and from every event. Incredibly reliable, super fun and rewarding to drive, easy on consumables, comfortable, surprisingly practical. There's no better platform.
Love it! It's great to have the kids involved. I bought my RX-8 for most of the same reasons. Track-days, daily driver, and room for the kids (I could use a little more helmet room though)
street ported.. is that the intake ports, exhaust ports, or both? you only really notice the exhaust porting on a NA renesis.. until you add boost! then its nutty! in this spec class, are you allowed FI or just NA? also I feel that the 8 didn't need THAT much cage.. lol I guess its super safe, but it was such a rigid car to begin with, unless there were other structural supports removed in the strip..? I have so many questions!! lol awesome video!

Good stuff, I've wonder how more modern cars would handle an ABS delete, crazy that it reacted the way it did when it was deleted.

How much does the car weigh?
If kids don't go then set of 255 tires will fit without problem.
