Beautiful country, someday I hope to have a camper and somebody to travel with as my husband died of ALS in 2015. He was a Sargent in the army in 1970 and 71 before receiving an honorable discharge when his older brother, who was a medic in the Vietnam war, was killed.
Creede area is fabulous! The Rio Grande headwaters is on that same drive to the waterfall and the view from there (and everywhere, for that matter) is fantastic! Drone shots were excellent!!
Appreciate the tour of this beautiful area. Also appreciate that you guys show how easy it can be to boondock, even with the big rigs. That’s how we like to camp as well.
We love Creede and we know right where you were. We have visited Creede the last 2 Years in September and plan to return next year. Next time you are there spend a couple of days riding the mountain trails. Bachelor Loop, Bristol Head and the Alpine Loop. You will not regret it.
Creed is just down the way from where I'm currenty staying at my Late Father-in-Law's estate near Alamosa, CO.! I have family in Breckenridge too and it's pretty fabulous as well.
We saw your rigs on the hill at Creede! We were camping at the Forest Service campground 2 miles down from the waterfall on North Clear Creek. There are great views just about everywhere around Creede and Lake City. Enjoy our home state, Colorful Colorado!
We went back to Creede in early May and had a wonderful time…again! Hubs loves fly fishing so the coffee shop stop was a two-fer, a place for me and a place for Hubs. We recently purchased 35 acres in southern CO with a view of the Spanish Peaks and are looking forward to spending more time in the mountains. Loving your Colorado videos; continued safe travels!
The pacific north west is beautiful for sure. Really enjoyed watching this clip...it been a while. You folks have really upped your game, the drone footage is fantastic, Gonna have to fi d some more spare time some how...🙂🙂
Beautiful drone photography of great locations. Can't wait for the Breckenridge reviews. We spent nearly 3 weeks last February at Tiger Run Resort. Baptism by severe cold for a 45" class A but we survived and enjoyed the skiing.
So pretty! Haven’t been deep into the mountains of Colo for a long time. We are going to Breckenridge in a month and haven’t been there in 25 yrs so really looking forward for a preview before we get there!
Was up at Lake City and Creede last summer and four wheeled around Lake San Cristobal. Plan on camping around that lake and Rio grande reservoir. Lot of things to do around Breckenridge as well .
You didn't mention the outstanding theater in Creede during the summer months. We have seen several shows there and they rival broadway. During covid they had one on the hillside in town. The backdrop was an amazing view. Not to be missed!
Hi I have never commented on your videos I just want to say you 2 work well together it’s impressive to me we need more people like you I love you just living life come to pa to Amish country maybe intercourse pa I live not far from there would like to say hi keep rocking life you living my dream
Hey CDR!!!! Great video, just WAY too short!!! Would love to have seen more of Creede and surrounding area. Where is the boondocking spot ya'll camped at? Be careful out there!!!
Thank you!!! Great video and drone shots! About to purchase a Class C 26ft. Appreciated seeing the big rigs traveling to this spot as it tells me I will get there without problems. Keep up the good work. If you save them, I would love the GPS coordinates of the off road spots like this one!
Good luck with your RV purchase!! I hope you love it as we love Ruby. Our maps which includes BLM coordinates are a benefit for our Someday CRew. We would love for you to join the community! You can see more info here: todayissomeday.net/jointhecrew
Looks awesome. Can’t wait to hit the road in our new to us 2015 33AA. ON A SIDE NOTE: I went to your blog to download your checklists to give us a starting point and nada! Checked spam, nada. Used checklists for 39 years so I know how important they are. Any ideas?
Do you all use a electronic note pad to keep up with campsites and RV routes? (Apps) instead of using your phones? If so which do you recommend and why? We are looking for something to use that doesn't require our phones being tied up. Thank you.

@@todayissomeday I did the same. As a 69 year old retired army pilot, it was still a bit of a challenge. I really enjoy your videos. We have a 34’ Class A. I envy your experiences and live through your adventures. Thanks for sharing all that you do. I have a mini2 and a Phantom 3 pro. Really like the mini 2. Hope to see you on the road sometime.
What route did you take there? It would be great if you could share your routes for us newbies. Or maybe you do & I just do not know where to find it?? We are in Colorado now. Please help.
We share all of our maps ie campgrounds, BLM coordinates, ice cream joints, coffee shops, breweries, etc with our Someday Crew. But we havent shared the routes we take to get there unless we talk about it in our videos such as the pass through Yosemite.

Pretty cool video you guys it's great. But I just want to say it's kind of asinine that you're going to broadcast not just on a local channel but a nationwide and or worldwide channel your favorite free spots in Colorado. Because people aren't ruining our paid spots let's go ahead and broadcast where you can go for free to ruin that not saying you guys are ruining it but all the other idiots that are going to see where you're at

Just left Creede 2 days ago. Loved it
Ah Man, you should've circled the wagons like the first covered wagon RV's 🙂
Right!! 😂 But we wanted to see the views out the window instead of our friends RV butt!

Hi Phil
How long have you had your Part 107 license? Who did you go through for your training? Great video from the drone. Looks like a DJI Mavic.
We went through the Pilot Institute. They have a great program: pilotinstitute.com/course/part-107-remote-pilot/?affcode=245841_3mebsarv

Creede is one of our favorite spots in Colorado!
where are the fishing poles boys lol
We were in Creed last September. Heading back there next week. Be in on Wednesday. How long are you there?
We have already left CO.
Looked like a very fun and pretty trip! It must have been really exciting to see the moose! 😀 What ore did they take out of the mines in Creed?

What was the road to your boondock spot like. Would 5th wheels or TTS be able to get up there?
Yes. We saw all types of RV's in the same area as us. I can't remember the name of the road. It was across the street from where the dump station is.
Phill took Ruby on The Dirt?
What was the animal in the water?
A young moose.
One suggestion, when you’re editing, make sure you black out any and all license plate numbers.
For what reason?
@@todayissomeday for safety reasons.
@@ceciliacalvin207 whose safety? The plates are visible all the time as they should be.
