      R.S. Lawrence I think this is a sexist logic. Because the respected female characters are somewhat "more male". Sansa is not appreciated because she is feminine (in the common sense of the word, Disney princess sense) and it is seen as a weakness and stupidity. You were truly a feminist,not these people...

      All her advises were bad advises. Kick out children? don't try to get dragon glasses? and its ok to go when north is Sansa's. However I agree that Sansa has a better right to Winterfell than Jon. In that case Jon should be on the iron throne.

    • @kyosgirl92
      @kyosgirl92 7 лет назад +15

      I can completely understand both of those things though. You can't just think it as children. The families of those pledged for Ramsey. Their armies fought for him. And while it might not be their fault Sansa did have a point when she said they were rewarding people for loyalty to another and not those that were loyal to them. It's not to say that she was right but her logic is there. As for the dragon glass, Sansa knows Jon is a good man. He does inspire people to follow him. And that's what they need right now. You could see her hesitation in taking power at first. She didn't know if they would follow her. She didn't know if they would respect her. And now Jon who rallied the North together, who everyone pledged as their king and would follow behind. The one the Wildlings respect is heading south. And to a Targaryean no less. It's dangerous. Starks who have traveled south have not fared well. Case in point;
      Ned went south-> Lost his head
      Sansa went south -> abused forced into marriage nearly killed multiple times nearly raped raped abused again
      Arya went south-> never heard from again (Remember sansa knows next to nothing about her sister at that point)
      Catelyn went south-> throat slit and body thrown into a river
      Robb went south -> went to war and was killed at his uncle's wedding with his pregnant wife
      Her uncle and grandfather went south -> burned alive by the mad king (A Targaryean like Jon is going to see)
      So she's not wrong in worrying for Jon's life. She knows for a fact of Cersei's cruelty but she also knows the fact that she will not come north. North in the winter for her summer soldiers is just a death trap. Jon goes south and there's a chance he's kidnapped by her. Now there is the enemy that she does not know. The Targaryean girl. Literally all she knows is that she is the daughter of the mad king. The same mad king that called her grandfather and uncle down from the north. The same mad king that burned them alive.And that she has dragons. Yes she knows Tyrion is vouching for her but that means little to Sansa who has learned not to trust anyone. So in her mind Jon is going down to Dragonstone. Where a rogue Lannister unit could possibly take him to a pretender queen who wants fealty to her. Who was born of the mad king. And who Jon will not kneel to (as he'd said as such). Who owns dragons that could roast Jon alive without a second thought. Yeah she's not going to condone that.
      Sansa is a survivor. She is strong as any Stark but she's not foolhardy like all the rest of them are. She survived this long because she understood people. She survived this long because she knows how to play the game. She doesn't rush into danger. She thinks things through. And as much as I love all the Starks none of them think their actions through. Ned didn't and lost his head, Robb didn't and it killed him and Cat. We'll forgive Rickon, he's a child. Bran didn't and it cost Hodor his life. Arya should have died 100 times over with all the crazy shit she's pulled. Sorry if this is a bit of a rant. I didn't mean it to be this long. But I just constantly feel like Sansa gets a bad rap for the advice she gives when really I can understand every bit and I will defend her to anyone who says otherwise. You of course don't have to agree with me. But I just thought I'd prevent the other side. Because at this point in the show right and wrong really don't exist. Now it's just who lives and who dies.

    • @xxxjonxsansaxxx5746
      @xxxjonxsansaxxx5746 7 лет назад

      But the Starks and Targaryen's are enemies, so you can see where Sansa's coming from, even that man from The Vale said it was a bad idea, I mean to be fair The Mad King did kill their Grandfather, so it would be risky, I'm not blaming you, I'm just saying it's kind of obvious what Sansa was saying, the soldiers were even agreeing with her, and I'm sorry but Jon was being stupid here.

      It may be that she started off as a brat who was too naive and her head in the clouds. I think at two moments she starts to realize that the world can be dark and cruel. When Lady died and when her father , Ned, died. Then how she reacted would of how a teenage girl would react the the deaths of her loved one and then throughout the rest of the show, she matured while at the same time she is scared. After what Ramsay did to her and Reek, that’s when she decides that enough is enough and starts to fight back. Honestly, she does it in the most calmest, mature and yet terrifying way. She has character development. Unlike what she thought originally about herself, she does learn from her mistakes and tries to do better for the sake of herself and her family. She grew a wonderful wolf.

    Even if Sansa made some mistakes in the past when it goes to her father and even if she wasn't Always grateful and nice to him, Ned Stark would be so proud of his oldest daughter now, if he would have seen her like the woman she became.

    • @anandomia3161
      @anandomia3161 7 лет назад +1

      Ned Stark would be so proud because Sansa wanted to kick out the karstark and Umber children out on the street. Real good observation right there bro, keep it up.
      Ned Stark loved kicking out innocent children because of their fathers mistakes.

      I would give sansa that she conviced Jon to fight. She didn't do anything to get the knights of the vale. Knights of the vale came because little finger convinced the piece of shit lord of the vale to help Sansa. i don't think sansa gets any credit there.

    • @kweenb4166

      Anando Mia how about the fact that she survived being abused, manipulated, and raped? And she came out stronger than ever and is really good at ruling the north. She also learned from her enemies, adapted, and studied them then use what she learned. Seems a pretty good reason for Ned Stark to be proud of her. Just because she's not a combat fighter like jon and arya, or a 3 eyed raven doesnt diminish what Sansa has accomplished. She's come a long way from being a naive little girl to being this smart woman who's seen so much and experienced the worst but still continues on.
      Let's not forget the Knights of the Vale CAME for her. They rode for her. They won the battle for her. They are loyal to her.

    • @xxxjonxsansaxxx5746
      @xxxjonxsansaxxx5746 7 лет назад +5

      If your going to keep saying stupid shit like that then there's no point of you even saying anything. 'She didn't make Ned proud' what kind of comment is that? Sansa is his first daughter, his first baby girl, and your telling me that he would care more about her doing her job properly then knowing the fact that she survived 7 years of abuse and was raped and is still here today. She was the one who wrote that letter, no one else did. Little finger offered it towards her in episode 5 of Season 6 and she accepted it by writing to him to save Jon.

    I think the difference between Jon and Sansa is that they have completely different role models. Jon's role models are Ned Stark, Bengin Stark, Geor Mormont, Quorhin halfhand, Mance Rayder.
    And Sansa'a role models are Cercei and Peter BAelish.

    • @mathiasrosier660
      @mathiasrosier660 7 лет назад +25

      Sansa did not have Cercei Lannister (post s1ep9) and Petyr as role models, she didn't want to become like them. She did learn from both of them but she didn't even like neither of them to begin with. The problem is simply that Jon has no capabilities in politics, and Sansa in militia but neither want to listen to the other when they need them.

      Besides, I truly believe it's sexist to say "is she a Lannister?" like, hey girl, you should be on Sansa's side: traded through marriage in someone's political game... If she was a guy married to the enemy and escaping from it, nobody would be questioning his loyalty to the original family. Girls should know better... Lady Mormont was despicable!! Instead of being nice to one of the last fucking Starks, she's all like: oh, you, woman, married X, now you belong to X's family and work for X's". WTF?? I was really irritated....
