As a scooter rider myself, i would suggest tightening your compression so than nothing falls apart and so that you can spare eardrums with that annoying ass rattling noise Also your bars are sideways, hope you fixed that by now.
It is impressive. As he said in the video, skating absolutely transitions to scootering. Good balance and agility gives you an advantage in every action sport.
I tried it a few times and got landed it too. My 14 years of skateboarding muscle memory absolutely made this way easier. But i still do regular faceplants when i try to snowboard lol
I’d agree scootering as in the basics like hop whip is was easier to learn than skate board basics but once you get all basics of both you get the hang of it then every trick in the intermediate/ pro category I’d say is almost equally as hard scootering maybe a little harder but comes easier if your stronger
not bad for a first time next time tighten your scooter a tad more also, that grind you asked, is really not a grind, in scootering you have to lock either the front of your deck or the back of it to do a grind, in diferent positions of course. what you did at 6:36, if the front of your deck was locked in on the ledge, would be a smith grind great content tbh, gained a follower
You could’ve tightened up the scoot a bit more, but you rocked that session. Making it look easy. And yes, skating absolutely makes scootering easier, and this is an amazing example! 👊🏼
scootering like everything has a skill ceiling, & most skaters that hate on scootering haven't even made it anywhere on the skateboarding spectrum. Dope to see some skaters putting their feet in someone else's shoes & gaining a new perspective though.
always found scootering so interesting, cool to see your pov of learning it man!
10 minutes in and hes already much better then me who has been scootering for a year. embarassing

Cheers man, Thanks for the tips! I’ll definitely try some actual slides/grinds in the future.
No hate but the scooter sounded awful

Quick answer yes cause they always be asking me to try my scooter then do something crazy with it😂
Your compression is to lose that’s why it’s hard to do tricks take the bars off and tighten the bolt on the forks
Good idea

Yea it’s definitely harder than what skaters give credit for.
