U can make it more affordable by buying a silver deck and cutting holes and pressing the circles into collecters coins and selling them at a farmers market 😎👌

Hi.. My son's 11. I have him make a list and he does chores to earn the money for parts. His uncles a mechanic and I'm a quad sk8 mom gear head so I love taking things apart. It helps us bond. I like where you're going but you sound like a smarty you can get you a nice hustle and make major coins this summer. Put your thinking cap on & get some friends together and ask your neighbors if they need any work done around their houses. Good luck .. parts aren't cheap and neither is paying for broken bones so be safe out there 😊
Buy a complete especially now that completes are sometimes better than a custom for a fraction of the price and just upgrade the scooter as time goes on

Yes, Amazon has a mongoose scooter right now. That actually is not bad for starting off less than 50 bucks.
