@@cracctimmi u can jump easily on a light scooter but on a heavy scooter your going to have to jump harder dummy
Street scooters are typically much heavier than park scooters
My thought process on slightly heavier standard bars is there needs to be some increased strength in the thinner 1” tubing to prevent bending. But oversized bars can have thinner gauge tubing since the larger 1-1/8” circumference offers more strength. I’ve noticed this between bars I’ve previously ridden. I don’t really know though, just my guess haha. 🤷♂️

i just finished my 7 today. i'm actually shocked at how much i like it i really missed writing a seven wide and now that i'm on proto i can jump back and forth between 6 and 7

You know it could be heavier if u change the forks to a long one use headspace spacers and change the brake to a beefy one
he literally said he weighted out the fenders/brakes and that was the heaviest one
long fork and headset spacers would pretty much weigh the same as what he did it don't matter

Or like the urbanart decks have 12std conversion spacers, these fit into the 12std bearing making it able to run on an 8std axle
Ounces make Kilos 💪🏻 Insane that there are BMX bikes that only weigh 3lb or 4lb more
you guys should do a trick on the scooter after the build. id love to see something like that even if it was small
IK it would be a lot of work but if you guys cataloged the weight of all the parts you could have a scooter builder on the website that does compatibility and rough weight just a thought

Yeah if you think about it now we need the most neutral weight scooter, almost a cladh between the heavy scooter and the lightest one with mix matched oarts
Should make a little bolt slot in for the deck for effortless tightening and would help keep dieled or maybe bolts are better if you loose any bolts would be easier to get them

MY Bolted Blade Scooter with trolly bars steel square deck extenders from bunnings bolts keeping it from flexing and trolly bar bashed inside the fork so it doesnt snap and home made steel pegs it still heavier than this bad boy was around 7kg i believe back in the day

it is crazy that the deck weight 200grams more than my whole scooter
Should have used a epic deck or any older deck from the early 2000s would have worked to if you can find those brands anymore😂😂😂
Dangg, looks epic however this head tube does not fit the bigger fork. The deck is now not level and raised like a ramp towards the front. Not sure proto make a head tube for this, but is possible as modular. Hopefully there is a better fork choice that fixes this. Scooter geometry across brands suck.

💀💀💀the tall stack headset with this fork and deck is a very bad decision. it looks like there is not enough space for scs. the proto deck with 12 std also doesn't make me confident. the pegs are lower than the bottom of the deck, which is gross and disables crookeds (lockeds) on the rails. TV please take me to the USA to build a scooter with 0 flaws

I would have done this a little differently, not trying to go for the heaviest street setup but definitely the best. The Proto decks are just toooo damned heavy; in my 12 Standard setup, I'd use a Trynyty Chimera deck along with the Mastodon fork and the Native Profile wheels. Get rid of the tall stack headset as it does nothing, but replace the Rider Designed clamp with a Proto Full Knuckle, and replace those bars with Grit Magnesium Battle Bars. Lighter, stronger, and stiffer than titanium but with better vibration absorption. You'd probably shave a pound and have a much better setup.
