I love your videos, Elana. I am so short - way under 5' at this point in my 75 year old life but, having taken care of myself over the years, exercising, strength training and with the basic hour glass figure, I can wear classic clothing styles in P2 or 4 depending on the brand - mostly P2 these days. You put me onto the Abercrombie jeans a while ago and I just love mine. I get the curvy fit in the skinny jean (26 xs) and they fit and look so good on my body type. Straight jeans are tricky because I need my figure to be defined due to my height so I'm still sort of working on that.

As a petite 4’10, abercrombie and american eagle have X-short jeans! Madewell petite also fits well!

I’m petite and can’t wear high rise. Are there any mid-rise you recommend preferably non-stretch?
Agree. 5’00, 4P with short waist. High rise jeans leave only 2 inches below bra line.
Thank you for a great video! I'd also love to see you do another jeans video reviewing some flare and bootcut styles and maybe even some wide leg styles! Flares and bootcuts when worn with a heal are so flattering on petites and make my legs look much longer. (I am also 5'1", but am a little bigger than you, wearing size 26/ size 2 jeans.) I have found some nice, well-fitting options in Joe's jeans, Paige, and White House Black Market. I sometimes find great deals on Joe's and Paige jeans at Nordstrom Rack :) White House Black Market has a new wide-leg trouser type jean that is surprisingly flattering and is a perfect rise and length with a mid heal in petite sizing.

These are all great jeans but at 55 and 5’2”, my holy grail jeans are from ayr (all year round). They feel like you’ve had them forever straight out of the box, look great, come in a short length and made in the USA! I highly recommend you check them out

US Abercrombie are always sold out of petites online and my store
does not carry petites ☹️. I thought curvy styles were for women with more curves? I would like a tailored slim straight fit (I'm 5'3" 115lbs ) I also want above ankle bone length , So for 90s straight fit order extra short length? I appreciate how u state how the Abercrombie lengths run and fabric thickness. Thank u for the video !
My measurements are not considered curvy but the A&F curve love works for me! Based on reviews, they work for a a lot of woman! They really snatch at the waistline and leave extra room in the hips so they are comfortable and flattering! :)
And for the 90s , yes, if you don’t want the ankle scrunch , go for the X-Short! The short is a 28.5” inseam which isn’t petite friendly imo! Maybe if you have really long legs (I don’t , hahaha)

Hi, you may like the petite “10 inch vintage slim straight” jean by J Crew, it checks all those boxes! I’m 5’0 and it’s perfect. I have it in the dark wash.
Other straight jeans are too baggy on my thighs and legs
