Jason i think he is a litlle sick with that circus moustache......what a slapstick...pervers lunatic creep He is the only one who likes his own muscles the most mwhahahahahahahahahahaha. everytime he looks down he first looks if they still there mwhahahahahahhahaha Conclusion WANKER !
@@FlameImperishable no problem, I'm sure the influence is mutual! You can react to Micro Cuts live at Le Zenith if you wanna check out his falsetto, quite operatic. Kudos :)
Dream theater's Octavarium was inspired by Absolution and this song Assassin was inspired by Octavarium. You should react to Dead Star by Muse. Their most metal song
Check out Panic Attack and Never Enough from DT. They sound a lot like Muse’s general sound. I’d say, As I Am is their Metallica inspired song. Surrender to Reason is their Rush inspired song. I could keep going… 😉
There's a documentary of sorts you can find on RUclips about Muse. Somewhere in there it states that Matt B has no classical training in either singing or piano.
The outro part is actually the central part of the extended edit. B-Side which has not been on the album in this form: ruclips.net/video/_EtOo4QQWnY/видео.html
Home you guys react to more Live Muse videos. They really win me over with Live performances. For falsettos The Handler mentioned before me, The Handler Roskilde 2015, Bliss at Live 8 or Hullaballoo Microcuts. Enjoy guys, I love reactions.
I guess I was wrong! Black Holes's Assassin song came out a year after Octavarium. I wonder if Mr. Bellamy was inspired by DT being inspired by Muse? 🤔
This is cool, i'm enjoying the disucssion around the songs you have here and in the other muse reaction and i might check out more. Clearly you know Muse pretty well so i'm not going to suggest a bunch of other muse reactions, but i will do one, The Gloablist live at Glastonbury 2016, if you don't know that one. A couple of other band/things to check out.... - Arcane Roots - Slow Dance - Bring Me the Horizon - Nihilist Blues - Skunk Anansie - Charlie Big Potato
Hey Chris, thanks for the recommendation and kind words! I used to listen to Muse a ton back in the early 2000's, but anything after The Resistance, I am not familiar with so its neat hearing these songs for the first time, even though they're not technically new! New to me :)
Funny how Matt Bellamy can play riffs as heavy as Pantera and sing melodies as pretty and delicate as Chris Martin and he doesn't need the kind of facial hair that will get the cops called on you in Manhattan if you look at a girl because every single person who notices will think you're going to physical assault her. Maybe like shave and practice more.

You sir, have delivered the most entertaining comment of the week! Well done!
This person ^ really is worth freezing in a glass case for scientists to study.
@@Musabre 🤣 What do you think they'd learn? 😲
@@FlameImperishable Hey come on now, future discoveries in science will at first appear to us as magic :P. (Read: i have no idea but it scares me xD )
Are you not also watching the video? Matt Bellamy really commands the stage, highly recommend peaking at the video as well
It's actually the other way around, portnoy said octavarium is inspired by muse's 3rd album pretty cool huh?
Ah, cool!! Sorry for the misinformation! Muse 3rd was Absolution? I used to listen to that album nonstop back in college! It's flipping brilliant!
@@FlameImperishable no problem, I'm sure the influence is mutual! You can react to Micro Cuts live at Le Zenith if you wanna check out his falsetto, quite operatic. Kudos :)

Interesting. Do you happen to have any recommendations for Dream Theater songs that fit this inspired by category? I'm curious to hear this.

The Great Debate reminds me of Tool!
@@FlameImperishable if you listen to glorious by muse, the guitar/bass is near identical with panic attack
@@FlameImperishable also never enough = Stockholm syndrome by muse
When you mentioned "raise the eyebrows" for falsetto, It made me think of Muse's live performances of "The Handler"
Matts vocals on album one are even crazier. When he was younger, he used to hit some insane notes.
I first discovered Muse at a free live festival for 60,000 people in 2002. I’ve never really recovered…
I prefer the studio version but this is one of my favorite Muse songs
the bass player sings in one of their songs! well two, but the one i’m requesting is liquid state live in Dallas!
There's a documentary of sorts you can find on RUclips about Muse. Somewhere in there it states that Matt B has no classical training in either singing or piano.
That’s crazy! Just good old fashioned natural talent! Wow!
Matt Bellamy is some kind of modern day Mozart he was not coached
Sometimes, the live version of a song can be so much more crazy with all the crowd cheering and screaming! Love Jason moustache btw! lol
Thanks man! Totally agree!
Muse one of the best live bands around. Won awards for it
On the subject of heavy live Muse performances, could you possibly do a reaction to Muscle Museum live at Glasto in 2004? It's a different beast live!
Thanks for the recommendation!
The outro part is actually the central part of the extended edit.
B-Side which has not been on the album in this form:

Plug In baby & Knights of Cydonia live at Rome 2013. Two of their best ones
The heavy outro riff sound you hear is mostly guitar not bass

I really like this reaction👏🏻 i love your moustache too hahaha
Thanks man! All the thanks goes to my wife for letting me keep it! 😂
@@FlameImperishable Hahaha be careful, she could pull your mustache🤣
Watch the small print or reapers live, it's amazing, plug in baby live at olympic stadium
You should put the video so we can see at the same time as you!
You are right! Need to figure out how to do that for next time.
My 8 year plays this on guitar . He is little Matt Bellamy according to him lol. You should do a reaction to Micro Cuts
Never Enough by Dream Theatre was Inspired by Stockholm Syndrome by Muse if you didn’t know!
I guess I was wrong! Black Holes's Assassin song came out a year after Octavarium. I wonder if Mr. Bellamy was inspired by DT being inspired by Muse? 🤔
@@FlameImperishable could be! i’m not too sure, though i know they like Deftones, they play the headup and my own summer riff sometimes!

I love how the guy on the right says they don't tour that much! 🤣😅🤣
Bro they almost in all time TOP 10 bands with the most concerts LoL!
Well so far so good. cheers 🍻
More live Muse!!!!

Maybe like shave and practice more.
I wish I could, but like Samson, if my beard were to be shaved, I’d lose my super guitar playing skills. 💪
The 2006 Shepard Bush version of Assassins is better, more aggressive and compact.
Listen to Plug In Baby by muse live at rome
I just wanna hang out with you all with my beverage of choice.
Is this Andy n Alex all grown up or have i had tooooo many beers..
Dream Theater was heavily influenced by the supremely talented Rush (my other favorite band)!
Funny story, when I first moved to Texas, that same weekend I saw Rush and Yes back to back in concert! Both huge influences in DT!
@@FlameImperishable Yes was another of my faves too. Got to see them a few times as well! Cheers!
phrygian scale
9:49 is actually the guitar. Filthy, filthy tone
Wow that’s crazy!
Well none of them are trained
