So many fun projects! Whenever makers on YT do vlogs, I always hope it's going to be more in this style where it's still focused on the making side of life and chatting about projects, and not 50% b-roll of cooking and chores 😅 Thanks for this video!
So glad you enjoyed watching! As a lover of vlogs, I'm really happy that the format is something people seem to enjoy. It's so fun to show more of the process :)
I’m not generally a blog fan but I enjoyed this less highly processed episode!
Thank you for watching! It was fun to make and I’m hoping to do a mix so I can still share moments of progress between the big, more edited videos. 🧶❤️
I looked at the swatch of your Lanta bag and it looks quite different from the pattern how it’s supposed to be. I’ve made two Kanye bag before and I know the stitch pattern is a bit confusing. Did you double check this is correct? 😊
Hi! Thanks for the advice - I did make a couple of mistakes but think I have it now. However, I do find the description of the stitches very confusing as it doesn’t use decrease terminology I have seen before. I will try again and see how it looks. Thanks for the help!
@@OrsaMakes great, let me know if it doesn’t work out! I can send a video on how to do it :)
@@wooling.around Thank you so much! I will see how it goes and definitely message you if I'm still struggling. :)
Germany has seen a lot of rain and even some flooding as well this spring. I could only get a bit of wear out of my cardigans in the end because the temperature was quite changable.
The rain has been driving me mad - it’s way too difficult to plan for and my knits are feeling neglected too.
I really enjoyed this format and hope you do more. Thanks for testing the cotton for the Lanta bag. It’s on my list of things to make this summer and hadn’t decided on the yarn. PS. I always make the same kind of mistake when knitting a pattern with so many yarn overs. 😅
I'm so rubbish with remembering where the yarn overs go! Hopefully I'll get it right when I actually make the bag. So glad that you enjoyed the new format - I might try to get one or two of these more casual videos up next month because I really enjoyed making it. Have a great week! :)
I absolutely loved the vlog! Here in Copenhagen it feels more like March or November (with slightly higher temp) since it's grey and awful weather lately, so I'm back to knitting :D I think the Sezane bag you own, grown on me, and I added it to my "list". Do you know which size you have (regular, mini, micro)?
The weather is so strange - it was 15 degrees one morning near the lakes this weekend. It is good to have more 'knitting weather' though. I'm happy to hear your like my little bag - it is the regular size and linked in my description. I have been using it constantly and find it goes with everything. :)
Hi, I think they look like the right size. I recommend watching Suzanne Bryan’s RUclips button tutorial, I love her method, and you get to use twice as many buttons!
Thanks for the suggestion! I'm happy with the size and will be attaching them asap once my rib is done - very excited to have it finished.
What a cozy vlog 😊 I love seeing your outfits pairing Sézane pieces with your own hand-knits. ❤
Glad you liked it! I love styling a mix of knits and pretty things - I will be adding more outfits into my next vlogs. ❤️
Skall studio bermuda shorts! Handmade by Florence also stans this brand
Yes! I love Skall - they have some beautiful knitting patterns too. Will have to check out their sale which is on now. ☺️
Such a nice vlog! I am really getting hooked on those knitted totes!😍
And can say that in Denmark we've had some of that intense rain as well, though mainly for a few days.
Thank you! ❤️ I’m making my Lanta Bag right now and can’t wait to use it - oh and it’s predicted to rain again of course! 🥲
@@OrsaMakes I totally can understand, it looks so pretty!😍
Must say we are spared a bit more than Italy, from what I can see in the news. So sorry
I live near Como and it's usually very humid here, but now it's raining non-stop and hot during the day. i feel cooked (((
I know! When will it stop? It's like being steam cooked!
@@OrsaMakes ... this climate wants us to go back to being frogs 🐸🙄
Love your style. Would love to know what size your Sezane bag is?
Hi! It’s the full size not the mini and linked in my description. Such a great bag - it’s wearing really well too. Thank you for watching 🧶❤️
I really love this format. I hope you continue with it :)
That's the plan! I so enjoyed making this one and it will definitely become a regular segment ❤️🧶
I loved this vlog. I would have liked to see more outdoor scenes: beautiful places where you go, some of the dishes you cook and some knitting too. ❤❤❤
Thank you so much! I really liked making this style of video and will try more vlogging in the future in some pretty places that are high on my list to visit :)
@@OrsaMakes thank you for responding! And yes, please, some of your quiet and beautiful lifestyle ♥️♥️♥️
🍀 you look more relaxed and happy 💕🥰
Thank you :) I really liked making this video!
The hobbii kid silk: I‘m tempted but scared of itching: Is there anything to compare the softness with?
It’s a lovely yarn but I will say not the softest mohair. Have you thought about trying an alpaca silk instead? 🧶❤️
@@OrsaMakes great idea, but I wanted to use the same color as you did (German weather feels like fall lately so I‘m here for all the autumnal colors) and I can’t find matching alpaca silk in the color „chocolate“.
@@TheSolipsist0 I will keep an eye out for a good match for you! The Hobbii is a pretty colour but definitely on the itchier side for a mohair. Colour 38 in Drops Alpaca Silk is more a true chocolate with less red. KFO Bordeaux or Rust could also be a good option if you want it more red/orange because I find their mohair much less itchy. I'm also so into the autumnal colours :)
@@OrsaMakes thanks a lot, but I bought it, it arrived and I‘m currently knitting a swatch. 😬
@@TheSolipsist0 Hahaha oh my god! I'm sure it will turn out great. It is a beautiful colour and you could always wear something underneath if you find it tickles.
