Excellent tutorial. Great format listing the patches. So much great stuff to work with here. My only suggestion is maybe leaving the text slides silent. You have a really nice vibe going and the other music distracted me a little. Very nice work. More please!
@@enochpeter thank you for your kind words. I like having some background music in between clips but I will definitely try to make it smoother in the future, I understand how it can be a distraction. Again thank you so much!
This is awesome! I’d like to know a bit more of the workflow although this is pretty clear but still… (for example, mixing, or if you used some external AUv3’s for the effects, things like that).
Thanks man! Honestly I am pretty bad explaining how to mix in garageband. You kinda just have to experiment yourself. But for the most part f-16 filter, zero reverb and lrc5/7 are the au plugins I use the most. Chorus, reverb, delay and eq (the basic stuff) is basically all that I use for mixing. Maybe I’ll try to do a tutorial.
@@wlblaxy Small piece of advice for a Gated Reverb effect for the snare as heard in a good amount of 80s tracks: There's an AUV3 app called "Velvet Machine", that, with the right settings allows you to create that sort of effect. Anyway, that aside, with how you do everything as is, I definitely enjoy your work!
Can you make a video on how to recreate the prismática Apple Loops chords, if you know how, because I’ve been wanting to crate some of my own chords in that type of instrumentation.
@@swinno007 I listened to it and yes it sounds very similar. I don’t mind if you want to remake anything I do in GarageBand to practice, and it does makes me happy knowing that I can inspire other people to create music. However, because of copyright and my personal opinion I would advice you not to put it out on Spotify. I’d suggest you try to make your own chords and melodies, with your own ideas and instruments. And don’t get me wrong by all means can you take inspiration from my track. It’s just that if you want to put out a song on Spotify, it has to be your own. If you have questions, please put them below (I’m sorry, I almost never use discord) and I’ll try my best to answer them.
Hey I'm still new to understanding this. Where are the presets from? Are they on a midi keyboard? Evolving colours, new romantic, digital plucks, etc...Thank you!
This is amazing. I don't find these presets in GarageBand out of the box. I mean, they are definitively not in the library. Were they downloaded from a third party provider? Do you recall the name?
Thanks! All presets are from GarageBand and the various packs you can download within the app, so you might have to download some of those to get all of the sounds.
equalizer, you use it to boost the high, mid and low frequencies of sounds, it helps the sounds stand out more and not muddle together with the rest of the elements 👍
This is so amazing man. Don’t stop, not only your GarageBand skills are incredible but the video itself is really well made. Love you bro 👊
Thank you man, I really appreciate it❤️

Super hard to find any tutorials on Chillwave. Good sound selection and piece you made here. Thanks for sharing 😃🤘
Thank you, it means a lot!
Dont stop mate thats amazing 🔥
Very nice and love that bass!

Sounds great :)
What's the tempo of your track?
Thanks, 100 BPM
Thanks, really enjoyed this!
I absolutely love this song, can I use it for a video?
Thank you, go ahead!

Good stuff 🙏
Cool.
Subbed.
Class tutorial I’ll make a few changes and stuff to the song aswell do u want crediting on Spotify when it comes out
Thanks! If you make your track unique then do whatever you want, credit if you want to. If it’s too similar, then credit would be appreciated.
@@wlblaxy it’s a bit similar but much different just trying to add a few more stuff so I’ll put your name down as a writer
Do u have like discord or something so u can help me out plz
What’s your name so I can put you as a writer

Could you show how to make Carpenter Brut style synthwave?
I could try maybe, we’ll see in the future

The sounds are all from garageband, no midi keyboard. Some of them are from sound packs you can download for free in the app. Hope this helped!
@@wlblaxy thank you so much
@@wlblaxy and what the pressers would be ?
Sample pack?
Это все встроено
How do you add effects like chorus and overdrive? Tried but I don't get how
Sorry for the late reply. First press on the three stripes with dots on them. Then “plugins & eq” and after that add whatever effect you want
Are the presets the names of the midi used? I can't seem to find them in Garageband.
Yeah, some of them are from the free sound packs you can download in the garageband library.
Hi, any idea from which pack you got the neom drum kit from? Thanks
Its in the ”Electronic Drummers” pack. Sorry for the late reply
Is this on any streaming services?
Music DAWs are not on Streaming Services, that's like wanting to watch SpongeBob on GTA.

Does iOS have different presets? I can't find some of these on my mac.
Sorry for the very late reply, but I do not know for sure. I don’t own a Mac, but I think it should be the same
I still don’t get what instrument do you use
Do you have a download or link for this?
I use the piano sounds from GarageBand. Some of them are from preset packs you can download in the app
@@wlblaxy oh
Cookery
How did you make that intro
You talking about the video? If so then it’s not that complicated haha, just some green screen effects and sounds I found on RUclips
WTF IS AN EQ
