I had this one as my first ever multi effect. I loved it so much and have upgraded to the AX3000G. The 1000, 1500 and the 3000 are still some of the BEST pro level multi effects ever made. They are easy to navigate with and sounds great.
Guitarontheflipside It’s the versatility that really impresses me. You can apply these effects boards to any situation, especially the 3000. Metal, pop, ethereal or tempo driven electronica. It works for all of them :) Gearfacts
Sounds amazing. The distortion could be weak depending on the style pickups you have. Factory pickups or aftermarket are night and day. I like active EMG or Seymour Duncan's. Hot pickup
Almost any multi effects pedal is better than the G71ut, including the Korg AX1000G. The G71ut is the best-looking, worst sounding multi effects in my humble opinion! :)
Hey, I hope I'll get an answer.. Do u have got any ideas why does my wah wah just turn off even If I dont press anything.. :O Is there some kind of lock or something that wah goes out? Sry bad english.. Im glad if u can help me.. :O
The pedal uses a Hall Sensor to manipulate the circuit instead of a traditional potentiometer as a voltage divider. So the Wah won't hold its position as a traditional wah would due to the way a Hall Sensor works (like a door alarm). It only senses the movement of a magnetic field and its intensity, and not a perfectly static magnetic field as would require for a "stuck" wah tone like you can get with a Dunlop/Vox wah.
Mark Fulton ya man, y'bet make y'sel sce-arce less the man e com an' mosh down de ple-ace wid te hevvy hevvy ragga tsssss jah. Ah it's too dull being Australian
I've had this pedal since it came out many years ago- I used it extensively at gigs for well over a decade- GREAT sounds in this thing! It is a stomp-box modeler and does some pretty good emulations-but- it's all in the way you dial them in! I plugged it in after retiring it a couple of years ago and was playing through all my old patches- still a stellar multi FX.... YMMV, I can only recommend spending some time with it and try dialing it in if you are not getting usable sounds- definitely NOT a toy, a total pro unit, worthy of stage use. Another user: Korg AX1000G - Still got the blues 99%... still working ruclips.net/video/MutY0j8QzwA/видео.html
Ouch what a pile of poo kak from a great company..I have had reasonable multi fx pedals from them in the past but I would never recomend them for pros. Like their multi track recorders and synths a lot though!

How do you switch presets?
i have one, bought it 2001 and still good.
Just found this for $20 never used at Goodwill. Now I just need a guitar to go with it!
Total bargain :)
I'll buy it off ya
I like the individual modulation on this one and chorus sounds like it.
My first multi effects processor I ever bought 20+ yrs ago.

Yes the distortions are weak but the modulations and dynamic controls are great

Hello, can you please tell the settings for preset which starts from 3:16 ?
I was given this peddle board 6months ago and could not figure out how the hell to use it. Thanks for the insightful video
Glad it helped :) Gearfacts

hello Gear Facts! what's better, the Zoom G7 1ui.t, or this wonderful beauty?

Quick question. I have a 2 plug into 1/4 jack cable, would the aux cable plug into my audio interface?
If I understand correctly, then yes it should work. You may have to adjust input level on your interface or PC.

It's a primitive dialect, sir, but I do believe they think I am some kind of god.
Have you found it out? because i have the same problem.

Thanks for the walkaround, going to pick one of these up to replace my dead Korg Ax1G which to be honest is a bit too Fisher Price
You make a good description of the AX1G there!
this pedal is designed to make your own sounds off their template settings I think
Yep that's right. It needs to be tailored to the guitar and amp being used. Gearfacts
😱 its the South Park tone at 8:29
ring modulator sounds like the clangers on acid. good luck learning to play dude
Mark Fulton pfft what makes you think I wanna play, guitar is fer puffs, like, ya wee jobby
Ach up yet arse ya wee ragde.

Na, nae a wee froggy cov? Oh me big broon tangy!!!
very funny sound at the end lol
Bought one for 30 bucks. Nowadays this and a guitar is all I use for shows.
Nothing wrong with that! This pedal has oodles of personality and anyone who criticizes it's 'tone' is looking at it the wrong way :)
🤔 wow that sounds awsome! for a 12 year sterting out
Ahhh that didn't really land, did it buddy? You're welcome to have another go :)
How to loop?
I don't think there is a looper on this one is there?
@@gearfacts owh, and i found now, that yours is different, i have 1500 which is have only 5 pedals below
@@gearfacts there is an ‘call and answer’ style looper but it’s fixed at 8 seconds and can’t be adjusted
The delay sound ok but the rest sounds like spinal pap.
Why do you say the distortions are weak?
Well, maybe "Not as strong as other pedals" would have been a better thing to say :)
Bug sound

I agree. I've been trying out the newer AX3000G and it builds nicely on this model :) GF
Pretty well sounds like ass. Not the playing, just the pedal.
Dave Alexander Oh but I think the playing should get some of the credit ;)
+Dave Alexander hahahaha
Filma mas de sercs el video....porque no se ve los valores en la pantallita digitallllllllllllll

I agree, it's not pro gear. It's fun and cheap for home use or amateur band fun. Thanks for watching Gearfacts :)
