    This is a CRAZY amount of (really good) footage. I'm just amazing at how much there is to this video! I've been doing timelapse videos of Edmonton for about a year now, and I haven't come anywhere near this . Great work!

    You're a natural buddy. I didn't like to watch it hearing that music in the background so I turned it down. But the video is a masterpiece. Great job!

    absolutely amazing, you must be well connected with the right people to get the views you did.
    This easily could be a bid video for the 2026 Winter Olympic Games.
    can't say i like the intense techo music though

      All shots were taken from public places, mostly parks but also dead end roads.

    Hey Rob, this is awesome, what lens did you use for the cloud shots

    • @robeastick773
      @robeastick773  7 лет назад +1

      Sorry, just saw this now. Cloud shots probably used either EF 70-200mm 1:4 L USM or EF 24-105 1:4 L I5 USM.

    Rob. I LOVE this!!! You have mad skills, my man. Can I get your permission to use a short (10-15 second) clip of it as a background on my site? Of course, I'll give you full attribution and I won't use the music. Where can we see more of your work?

    • @robeastick773
      @robeastick773  6 лет назад

      Sure, Eric, go ahead. All my work can be seen on my channel. It's just a hobby operation so new releases are somewhat infrequent. :)

    Hey man you have done amazing work here, I love it! I was just wondering if I could use a few video clips of it in my upcoming Calgary travel vlogs. I would of course credit you in the video each time it is used and in the description.

      Thanks for the kind words. No problem using some clips, and appreciate the credit. Let me know when you have something... I'd be curious to see it.

    That is some time lapsing of a super high quality! What were you using for the shots? How did you get such amazing spots to shoot from?

    • @robeastick773
      @robeastick773  8 лет назад

      The majority was shot with a Canon 5D Mark III, but some earlier shots were taken with a 50D. Finding a good spot to shoot involved looking for green places in Google Maps. :)

    We love your timelapse video of Calgary! Can we use a few sections of your video footage for a dance video we are making? We have permission to use the music from the artist.

    How'd you get those shots of the mountains so big? Is that natural or photoshopped in some way? They seem so much smaller looking out my window hehe

    • @robeastick773
      @robeastick773  8 лет назад

      Just a long lens. The only cropping was to get the frame to 16x9.

      You can use the images/video, but I'm not in a position to let you use the music. I got explicit permission for that from the artist specifically for this video. You'd have to contact him yourself to get permission.
