Everyone sees it differently. My optimistic view is 6 months for warmer weather. But other person could tell you just 3 months. I also think that real winter is 4 months with two transitioning months (November and April). And even during those 4 months of real winter, it’s changing constantly, it could be around zero many days. And -30/40 is usually just one week in a year. So, I personally find winters not as horrible as people say. But it definitely gets bit tiring by March and you wish to get rid of the snow already.
