Hey everyone its good to see you Sorry for the pretty sparce upload stuff the last 2 months I had alot of stuff going on (burnout, health issues, work) Important thing is I'm back now For context Kraftcore is just gonna be a playlist of not reviews but me just going "haha this game is good lol" so you'll probably see these crop up every now and then Finally small addendum: While I think the bosses are the weakest part of neon white I would like to iterate and say they're still pretty damn fun, they just don't feel quite as good as the rest of the game
I see few reviews but all explain what I already saw in trailers and gameplay. Your review sold me the game, I'll definitely pick up this game in future!
My wife worked at a GameStop when Shadow the Hedgehog came out, and I have the preorder beanie. I've held onto it for all these years for a totally unexplained reason. I'm not proud of that fact.
Nice work as always! Neon White dosen't really seem like my kinda thing seeing as I'm really NOT into FPS's, but still, I can always apretiate the early 2000's edge, it was such a stupid era I love it
The game is more about platforming I'd definately say especially with the autoaim stuff magnatising your shots but yeah you still gotta point and shoot the gun Yellow's challenge stages were a little dull cos they disable discard abilities so they're all literally just run single jump and shoot
as i've said before i still need to pick this game up and play it it's just i dunno when that will happen cos of my stupidly huge backlog but yeah solid video man
boss stages can actually be done quickly, there's even an achievement for beating them before the final phase. the game doesnt tell you but every time green's shield is down you can damage him, includes the start and every set of crystals you shoot as he flies around. hitting him while he's flying like that is hard, but if you do enough damage to him you can skip phases. damage in betwen phases can allow you to get under 50 seconds on clocktower, and even under 1 minute on third temple. absolution is exempt, thats the only one where you need to get to the end.
oh neat, I did start to wonder since i wrote and recorded the script and went to get footage after and you see in my footage I do nearly kill him in the second last phase also I had shot him briefly in the inbetween phases but the gap is like half a second so i figured it was a negiligible difference thanks for sharing
@@Kraftium yeah, the window is small, but it's possible to get 4-5 shots everytime he moves. it's hard, especially on controller. third temple has a ton of those moments, but made harder by using dominion for them.
I don't disagree, but I feel like longform travel is just intrinsically difficult to make compelling, flying just exacerbates the issue because you have so much more range of freedom.
I will say that, even though the game's humor is a hit or miss for some. But me, it was one hell of a hit! Rather than laughing AT all of the random references, I laugh WITH the game with the random references! As, I do have a tendency for those.
@@Kraftium I couldnt even call it "Cringey" as I always get a geniune laugh! He kinda feels like a slightly more subdued version of Dr. West from Demonbane with his random references.

Loved the Anthem dig at the end.
Its not just a jab at anthem
I think flying in a video game is just inherently boring which is where they'll never be a good super man game

oh yeah every time white did something cringey I'm like "damn he just like me fr" I love the cast
