I went to school for animation and motion graphics , and the first day , our instructor was telling us , we are not born with the natural abilities to draw , some learn quicker than others sure but not born with the ability. Doesn't matter age or when you decide to learn. Practice towards it , 10 , 20 , 30 mins a day you'll see results. He told us (and idk , but it stood out to me) "if you can write your name, you have the ability to learn to draw."
Its practice makes perfect thing i used to draw as a kid then i stop for years and years i decided to start again when the pandemic hit and now after almost 4 years of pure practice every week almost every day at least and hour i can do a lot of drawings i do manga style so i just look for reference and start drawing is not perfect but i just embrace my artstyle and keep practicing

Buuuttt, an argument could possibly be made that there's enough material in this pack that you'd have some options to get your feet wet. It might also inspire you to start? Like how a fun new notebook could get someone excited about writing.

It was almost three years ago when I bought the jazzy art box. I ran through it all and roughed up all the materials, but they launched me into my art. My art was indeed all cringy and awkward for a long time, but in all honesty I doubt my art would be where it is now without Jazza. Genuinely awesome dude
Literally every time you bring something out I feel like I need to play with and create with it!! Everything is is so considered for every level of artist. It’s also good to know what kind of tool kit to invest in to produce art at the professional level you do. Such a shame I’m a starving art student. But I do try and replicate the kits with my limited funds. I never would have found ohuhu markers without you! Really excited for what you bring out in the future too, who knows maybe I’ll be able to afford an actual jazza art kit one day. Keep creating and teaching. Thank you

As a part of that, I don’t believe that I have any color perception, a box like this makes me feel really excited to be on the same Plainfield as everyone else. I often get told do your own thing, pick whatever colors you want, but I’m never sure if something looks crazy. That’s also why I never fight quite felt like investing in the other boxes the head colors because I felt like I wouldn’t be using the box it’s full potential. I love this Sketch Pack. It has improved the feel of my art and maybe that has improved my actual art. I love the sketch book. The mechanical pencil casing is cheap, but I love the lead and while it strangely feels cheap and light jn my hand, it draws so well. I love the new brush pens. I am not the biggest fan of fineliners, but again, I have enjoyed their ease of use. So while, on the 1 hand I do not like some of the choices in the pack, I have to say that their use is incredibly satisfying whoch leaves me split. I absolutely love the colour pencils, fid not think I would. I would love to be able to buy these open stock in all colours and/or as an actual set of differentcolours. They go down so beautifully and easily. This by far is the biggest surprise. I have not used the mixed media sketchbook, but the main sketchbook is incredible. I love the paper, size, and ease of sketching. I am interested to see how your sketching material works with other sketchbooks and your sketchbooks work with other sketching materials. I am satisfied even though I am slightly torn. I would love to have bought your Ultimate Box and compared your mechanical pencil there because it looked more premium as well as your brush pen. Congratulations. I am loving using your Pack and I have only had it a few days. I have now tried the mixed media sketch book. By far my best 2 products are your 2 sketch books. I just bought it. I'm not an artist, but I want to try sketching for fun and colouring in with watercolours (I have so many watercolour palettes!) and your selection of sketching materials is very well thought out. I am impressed by this and the custom case pretty much won me over. Thank you for making it for us!
This definitely seems like a good pack for beginners. Sketching is fun and easygoing. It’ll be good for getting the basics down before moving on to some more intense drawing
@@Newt2799 I disagree tbh, this seems much more like something for someone who has experience with sketching already and is looking for more professional supplies; if you’re a beginner you should start with cheaper supplies anyway

I trust your sets more than any others. I have two art degrees, but you have better formed my ideas of what is possible for me (in getting back my artistic abilities and passion and quash fear) than many other instructors I've sat under.

I feel like tan paper sketchbook or even just a few pages would really let the white pencil and gel pen shine, but otherwise the kit feels super refined!

Only 100 bucks, you can't beat that. I paid the same for your other kit and loved everything in it. The spectrum noir one I think it was called? But yea the markers and pens are unmatched by any I've ever used before. I do wish I was better at sketching like you guys. You all make this look so easy lol. But it's still a lot of fun to try, I'm sure this will do well.

I got my sketch pack today. I've had some really horrible experience with an art teacher in the past, so bad that I still hear her voice and even break down sometimes whenever I try to pick up art of any sort. I love art and I love your videos so I'm hoping that this will help me overcome the bad experience and fall in love with it again 😊
Whenever you release one of your packs, I always wish I dedicated myself to art when I was younger. I never really got into it until the C disease hit and now I’m 20 and between University and work, I don’t really have time. But all these look so cool!!! I would feel like a fraud getting one since I car barely draw a stick figure animation, but UGH!!! If you are talented please get this and make beautiful sketches that I would dream to make!
Just get it and try it out. Nobodies a fraud for wanting to try something they think they'd enjoy! And if you really do end up enjoying it, oppertunities will arise where you'll want to make time.
drawing is a skill you learn from practice, not an inborn talent or gift. If people can Nature Journal with no skill, you can try this. It might make you happy. All you really need to start is paper and pencil or pen
You're so young lol. Pick it up when you're able. Just gravitate to a type of art you've always been naturally drawn to, or try something new. I'm 28 and recently started anatomy drawing. Has been very fulfilling! Aim to do so before you're 35 (that's when the brain becomes stubborn / less programmable)
I’m also at uni but a bit older (23). What got me drawing more, when you’re bored, instead of reaching for your phone, reach for a pencil and you’ll be amazed at how much drawing you get squeezed in. It was my new year resolution and already I almost have a detailed piece done compared to one piece taking me a couple months last year

I have two art degrees, but you have better formed my ideas of what is possible for me (in getting back my artistic abilities and passion and quash fear) than many other instructors I've sat under.

Only 100 bucks, you can't beat that. I paid the same for your other kit and loved everything in it. The spectrum noir one I think it was called? But yea the markers and pens are unmatched by any I've ever used before. I do wish I was better at sketching like you guys. You all make this look so easy lol. But it's still a lot of fun to try, I'm sure this will do well.

I got my sketch pack today. I've had some really horrible experience with an art teacher in the past, so bad that I still hear her voice and even break down sometimes whenever I try to pick up art of any sort. I love art and I love your videos so I'm hoping that this will help me overcome the bad experience and fall in love with it again 😊

Whenever you release one of your packs, I always wish I dedicated myself to art when I was younger. I never really got into it until the C disease hit and now I’m 20 and between University and work, I don’t really have time. But all these look so cool!!! I would feel like a fraud getting one since I car barely draw a stick figure animation, but UGH!!! If you are talented please get this and make beautiful sketches that I would dream to make!
Just get it and try it out. Nobodies a fraud for wanting to try something they think they'd enjoy!
And if you really do end up enjoying it, oppertunities will arise where you'll want to make time.
drawing is a skill you learn from practice, not an inborn talent or gift. If people can Nature Journal with no skill, you can try this. It might make you happy. All you really need to start is paper and pencil or pen

You're so young lol. Pick it up when you're able. Just gravitate to a type of art you've always been naturally drawn to, or try something new. I'm 28 and recently started anatomy drawing. Has been very fulfilling! Aim to do so before you're 35 (that's when the brain becomes stubborn / less programmable)
I’m also at uni but a bit older (23). What got me drawing more, when you’re bored, instead of reaching for your phone, reach for a pencil and you’ll be amazed at how much drawing you get squeezed in. It was my new year resolution and already I almost have a detailed piece done compared to one piece taking me a couple months last year
