Lazy Day in Lille France - Only 1.5 hours from London by Eurostar!

Join me on a relaxed day trip to Lille France from London travelling by train on the Eurostar. With fantastic architecture, a Citadel, and great beer and waffles, given it's only 15km from Belgium.
Once in Lille you can walk everywhere to all the main attractions in a few minutes.
Lille has a rich history encompassing occupation, sieges and turmoil changing hands between Spain and France but has retained it's character and continued to move forwards. Lille is nicknamed 'The capital of Flanders' in Northern France.

If i could get to St Pancras more easily, I'd visit Lille more often. I find it a great place to visit, and I've found a good low cost hotel where I stay too
