That was a great video, I love seeing the classic cars. Im 64 and I remember the cruise nights with our cool cars and girlfriends. The brought back some great memories , thanks so much .
If I went to a show like this, I'd probably smile and cry at the same time! Never forget those days! Thanks for sharing and good to see you taking your ride there!
Thanx for the video,I spent years doing a frame off on my 1968rs/ss Camaro, and i finished it in 1995,when my son turned 16 all he could think about was driving that car! So I sold it,I told him to get one the same way I got mine, work hard to buy it,work harder to buy the parts and materials, and its only a car, dont let your life be dictated by what you have, because a man makes money, money dont make the man!
That was GREAT, ISAAC! You brought back a lot of old memories of Friday and Saturday nights for me. Dukes Drive in for us was the place for the weekend “car shows”. After closing, we’d all head out to watch the drag races that the fellas would strike up at Dukes. Fantastic memories. Please add more of this, love seeing your bad a** ride and all the other hot rods there! Thank you! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🏁⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Yeah for me it was parkette drive inn Lexington ky friday night cruze with my 62 Plymouth Savoy 6 cylinder push button automatic my kids loved that car good food Po boy hamburgers lol
Born and raised in Austin. I’ve eaten at Top NOTCH many times. I like the old original restaurants like Threadgills. I was shocked to find out it permanently closed. It was an Austin Landmark in my opinion. What a great city.

Had a '54 4door bell myself but I'm a Ford man at heart! Glad to see you didn't just show up with a freshly used 7018 saying "what? It's a hotrod..." 😁
You have a nice ride mate. Fancy seeing a 60's Sunbeam Rapier nice coupe resto, that must have used a lot of filler wire! In fact all the resto's look pretty good. Nice to see a Scout too. Thanks for taking us out for an airing.
I remember you just casually walking past this beauty in one video without mentioning it. Glad to see it again! Love the usual videos, but this was a fun diversion - thanks for sharing. :-)
Isn't life so varied and wonderful? It's real and we have the chance to get involved, to share it with others and to make change. These cars and the life around it being just one small example of what's out there. Grasp it folks and live it. Excellent video. Thanks for sharing.
First pick, the Sunbeam Rapier, Second, the three IH Scouts! Thanks for this one, and these were the car years that you could tell at a glance, what make and model it was. Ah good times!

Love the old IH Scouts and first generation Ford Rangers. Unfortunately in the heavy road salt environment of the northeast, the bodies didn’t last that long. Thanks for the cruise, Isaac! Cheers. Whipple
Great video. I love the orange Road Runner in the beginning of your walk around. It's my favorite body style. I like it better than my '72 Charger but it's close. I'm glad to see a Scout (or three) still around. My Dad had an original Scout until it was wrecked and he bought a Scout II. My brothers' stories about these two trucks are family legend. My Dad always suspected but never caught him hill climbing and 4 wheeling. Great memories and I thank you for sharing this.
I always saw this car parked in your yard when you worked from home...always wondered if it is running. Is that a Bellaire. It's also nice to see something completely different other then welding.👍👌
Nice. Happy to see the old iron running around. Car meets are one of my favorite past times. Of course it my be because that's all I do all day is work on them. Lol
Happy to see folks in Austin out and about again. As a kid growing up in Austin we would visit the Frost-Top drive in farther down Burnet road. As an adult we had "Notch" day once a month with a guy that married into the ownership family (now sold) and damn those were some awesome burgers. Still drive by there about once a week so I'll have to stop and give it whirl again! Thanks for the content!
I don't go north very often when I'm in Austin, I'll have to check out Top Notch next trip! Maybe I can plan to be there for a first weekend. Thanks for the vid!
Thanks for sharing this with us. I was about to comment on the total lack of either British or European cars at the Hot Rod Night until (a) I realized that the term "Hot rod" may exclude any car not manufactured in the USA or Canada until (b) I spied the little blue and white Sunbeam Rapier convertible. A very rare LHD version too as the Rootes Group which manufactured these in England from 1955 to 1976 and made very few LHD models for the European market and none for export to the USA!.
Thanks for the great video. Nice job on the walk around showing the cars. I'm jealous !! After a long and cold winter, can't wait for the nice weather to come so I can get my car out and go to the local cruise-ins. You always meet good people there. Best regards - Mike
