Depends which one you want to use. First one is unlocked after the 3rd island, then two unlock at the same time after the 4th, one after the 5th, and one at the end of the game

You will need to trade a lot of you want to get the full sticker collection, but you get some pretty nice rewards along the way.

I think you missed a side quest all the way back in Zedar and the reward is pretty good.
