- My video looking at the 'real' locations seen in The Lost Crown, a ghosthnting adventure. Saxton is really Polperro, in Cornwall. The video shows images of both locations, so you can see the difference. Thanks to Tawny Owl for hosting this video.
This game is one of the best adventure games ever. And I really adore the locations.

I think the local inhabitants whose earning depends on tourism of Saxton( Polperro) would have thanked Jonathan Boakes very much if they knew the game the Lost crown made a wonderful attraction to the tourist like me. It's obviously admitted after the game published there has been more and more tourists visiting Polperro and surely those tourists have played the game.
Wow its amazing to know i could go there and know my way around saxton!
If I were there I would move around Saxton/Polperro and go to the places where Nigel went and ask the local inhabitants the questions that Nigel asked, I would enter to the Lighthouse restaurant to enjoy local ale and food. Of course I wouldnt forget to have my friend record these adventure videos. Just fancy, It would be very much exciting, LOL. I am anxious to be there. But I am from Vietnam and its hard to do this. =D I discovered The Lost Crown a few weeks ago and have been playing non-stop very nearly! xD So scary! I intend to visit the real locations soon just like you have, for now I'm envious! ^^

one thing i would be scared of it would be if i was you guys walking around in saxton after playing this game! i do really have the creeps atm ! :)

i heard a sequel is on its way called Lost Souls. Cant wait. This is the best adventure game in many years.

Hi Tawny, Are you the guy in the Video and living in Polperro? Normally any places don't become attractive and special on their own but if they have been selected for filming or writing game, of course they will become wellknown and wonderfully attractive to those who have read or watched them. The viewer always wants to see real scenery from their fictional one that they have seen on game of movie.
I am from Greece. Once I find time, I'll certainly drop by. :)

Great you are livng there? So the sceneries around seen in game are real? example: Tawny smithhouse, Celtic Corner, ... I do like to live there and become a fisherman o Polperro harbour.

Is the real Harbour Cottage a private home? Or is it really rented out to tourists? What does it say on the sign on the left of the door?
I wonder if the owners of the cottage have ever been asked if they know that a videogame about ghosts is set in their house :D

Does the pub The Bear in Saxton really exist on Polperro?
Well, I found that these places are seldom mentioned on internet. I search on google about Saxton or Saxon but the result is not satisfactory. I wonder Saxon and Saxton, which one is written correctly?

I have a question don't get me worng XD, but the people who made this game are the same that made: Dark Fall- Lost Souls? I'm questing this because I played the dark fall- lost sousl and the melody it's exacly the same of this game. I'm talking about this: 2:09- 0:35.
Why was it called Saxton in the game but it is really known by the name Polperro ? Is that Jonathan Boakes wanna change the name?
