There are so many beautiful places in Cornwall and it’s often difficult to pinpoint where to start. So thanks for this Dan & Mazzy it’s definitely now on my list of places I would love to visit x
We love looe & Polperro both beautiful places very picturesque, we have an allotment & grow abit of everything cant beat your own grown produce, going away next week and are tempted to go back here x
76….started growing veg again last year. Love it. I’m disabled but still enjoy it so much. I love Cornwall. Your vlog brings back childhood memories. Thank you.😎🇬🇧
I'm with you Dan - Polperro is my favourite place too (Looe not too far behind). I have had a couple of fabulous visits to Eden and Lost Gardens a number of times but it sounds like a Cornwall rip off now with the costs of parking and entrances - regrettably I will have no plans to return (for the record, in my camping days (tent with family) I went to a Trencreek Farm holiday site by St Austell & Mevagissey more than once - lovely place, here's a bit towards the next car park.
I'd love to visit Poloerro because of Dan's video and this one was just as good. The shirts look great as does the new hat. We are having a hot summer here in southern Illinois USA also, night temps were still in upper 70s and highs around 100.
Live in Cornwall the trouble is it looks nice but it’s getting over built it’s coming to be one big second home place wages are low food is dear water bills cost more down here .as for car parking lots of holiday makers park down the back roads then you come home from work and can’t park anywhere because they all downtown ,spent 45 minutes looking for somewhere to park after work it’s a nightmare glad when it’s winter
Dan park up in Looe, Hannafore by the sea free of charge. Get the bus from there to Polperro. No parking fees and stay as long as you like. Take Mazzy in the Blue Peter and sit in the back beer garden which is terraced with lovely views.
August 1988 walking around Polperro Harbour & I heard a loud slap cracking noise, My wife screamed out a loud scream. I turned & I thought someone had tipped a bucket of white paint over her head. Let just say dam seagulls & thank god cows don't fly.😄
As a single parent with not alot off wages thaught a car park up at the beach ⛱️ NO. The parking took all the money, even if I got cheap day return rail, Amusements, food, donkeys etc the parking fee took the most????? Unfair . But who are they getting AT.... well done ✅✅ M&D. Also the great senary shots, fudge, Pasties etc.. great video 😍
In the early 1800's Polperro had its own pound, now it is back. Today's Polperro pound is exactly the same as the English pound but only worth half as much! A very nice place but a rip off.
I would go there just for there pasties they are. Beautiful worth every penny. But it's too far to travel from north east been there twice . Lively place I am only driver so too much for myself. My woman in wheel chair now.
Anyway I found a. beautiful seaside, whole weekend parking £12.00, Amusements, donkeys rides,ten-pin bowling etc hotel wash & sleep & evening meal etc 1st class.seaside candy rock etc may I have 1 Walley tea shirt & one deep fried Dan t-shirt please xxxxxx Mazzy can. Know straight away 😂😜
Polpearo sorry I think I have spelt it wrong. I love it there. My granddad use to go there with his friends from the royal society of artists years ago when I was a young girl. Just after my Nan passed away. He loved drawing and painting.. he met his second wife when she saw a picture of his on display at the sucieties place in new street Birmingham were they lived. Her last husband was a window dresser at. A Debenhams store in the town. Because she sent me to ask if they had a job going when I left school. But. Ended up in Dudley working for Littlewoods as a window dresser in stead. Because my mom and dad lived in West Bromwich . But after l got married back in 1968. I moved around with my husband. And for a short time lived in Ipswich his home town. We moved every 6 to 8 months. But when my son was born I had to move back to West Bromwich. My dad passed away age just 45. Then when my mum remarried again in 1976. My step dad sent me out to work. He said I could earn more than mum so she looked after my son . Life has you both know can be tough at times. Bless you both lots of love and hugs to you both. Angela carol ward xxxx
get to the eden progect , all the money goes back in to the site and its a full day out , you'll love it, sounds like the media mod is on its way out or the mic connection as well ,
I've been before. Mazzy ain't that interested. So it's deffo not worth £38 each for us right now. Shame because l know it's amazing and she would love it.
Really enjoyed your video Dan & Mazzy and thanks for showing us the sights & sounds of Polperro. If only there was such a thing as smell-o-vision, as I can only imagine how unique it must be there. You looked so lovely in your black dress with the pretty puffy sleeves Mazzy. Loved Dan's tshirts, hat, and the snazzy shirts too. Your grocery haul looked great and good idea of yours Mazzy to divvy it up into portion sizes. I've really enjoyed reading everyone's comments here too - sharing memories and experiences of Polperro/Cornwall. Cheers! ⛵ ⚓ ⛴ 🎣
Absolutely stunning, never been to Cornwall to be honest, long way from where we are in North Wales! Really enjoy your videos, thank you for sharing. 👍 best wishes to you both. X
I suspect that the cost of parking in Polperro is a form of rationing since there's only one car park for the whole town. For info, the Eden Project tickets are annual passes -- so that fee covers you for unlimited visits throughout the year starting on the date of purchase. Not only that, but the Eden Project parking attendants give motorhomes preferential parking -- they send you to the back of the bus stand and so closer to the entrance than almost all of the car parks. There are also some good pub stops in the area (Britannia Inn and Ship Inn, Par; Four Lords, St Blazey Gate). It's a personal thing, but our favourite pasties come from Cornish Pod on the Rame Peninsula (GPS: 50.3528, -4.2336), which isn't too far from Whitsand Bay Holiday Park and Maker Heights Campsite. They also do pasties by post at £60 for a box of 12 or £36 for a box of 6.
Been to Polperro a good few times. About 5 years ago was the last time. Definitely the most picturesque. There's a lovely walk round the other side of the harbour. I don't remember the parking price being so crazy, 3 hours isn't enough to relax and have a meal. No wonder the car park looked so empty
Hi Dan and Mazzy another great vlog, when you get to hendra 2morrow do not use the chip shop, you thought polperro car park was a rip off think again, I've just been mugged by Dick Turpin. Enjoy Newquay and the rest of Cornwall we are back up to the Midlands in the morning.
Love this blog Here in Florida gas is $5.69 a usa gallon . And food is horrendously more expensive milk has doubled in price meat we can't afford unless it's on sale and general food stuff has doubled .but your videos cheer us golden oldies up .love and best wishs to you from Florida.
We loved Cornwall when we went. I had to laugh when you described the Autograph shirt as a cheap label. Autograph is M&S premium clothing range for men. Morrison’s is really good for BBQ food 👍🏻
Aldi prices has shot up to more than double. I got 2 bags for 60 USA $ that use to cost me 25.00 I could not even get things I truly wanted. I ended up substitute for other things
We stayed at the Claremont in 2019 free parking over the road 😊 had an evening meal at the 3 pilchards and the tide came in while we were there, had to walk back to the hotel in our bare feet and carry our shoes.
Don't even get me going on basic food prices. I have a mini road trip planned next week and I always buy basics from B&M it's my tradition. A small tin of Heinz soup (for throwing over pasta) £1.15. When did soup become more than a pound. And a tin of Big soup £1.40 it used to be 89p. 😮😡
I suppose that is when young families say we're staying at home to decorate etc.. know the parking will nab them. Even, our Queen addressed this who wants to watch a film when you know the ending, bless💖
Get yourself to tintagle lovely place plus parking is easy and cheap ,( Cheap dan cheap) great video mucho ❤ p.s Dan's now your not looking so much I like a young Freddie Mercury with the tash but a 70s porn star love it 💖💖💖💖💖💖
Dan, Rolly’s fudge is a national chain, It’s still good though. It costs me a fortune if we pass one as we are a family of 4, so it’s 4 of each flavour. I was going to comment on the high parking charges keeping people away, but it looked as busy as it should be. You ate right, Polperro looked a lovely town. It’s now on my list for next year.
Polperro is a lovely little place. I've just done a video from the Eden Project Dan if you want something to watch. Its a truly awesome place! It is expensive at £37 but it must cost millions to keep it the place maintained. We only paid £16 for residents pass as we are locals. I look forward to your next vid, Paul 👍
Hiya Dan and Mazzy . A lovely walk through Polperro, thankyou you took me back. I mentioned yesterday the parking price, it’s diabolical. We had fish and chips at the chippy by the harbour. We got chatting to the owner as we were miffed about the price to park. She told us that some person bought the land where the parking is and he can charge what he likes 🤬🤬🤬 she said if we go again, the road on the right as you leave , to drive up there and there are some pull ins where people park on the grass. She said a delivery van to her chippy was fined as he parked outside on double yellow lines. The businsss there were not happy. Despite that it’s a beautiful place, thanks for taking me round. Looking forward to watching your holiday at Hendra, you deserve a fab holiday. Safe travels 👍👍😃😃
Thank you for such wonderful films to watch you both have taken, for all us followers can get to see.god bless you both xxxx

That's too hot for me.
Thanks
Wow that parking charge is nuts! Lovely little place though, but I'd be in two minds to go with the cost of the parking there.
Thanks!
What a lovely place would love to live in a place like that.
Enjoying your vlogs - you present as a happy couple who love travelling - thank you for sharing from Brisbane Australia.
Dan park up in Looe, Hannafore by the sea free of charge. Get the bus from there to Polperro. No parking fees and stay as long as you like. Take Mazzy in the Blue Peter and sit in the back beer garden which is terraced with lovely views.
Hi Dan & Mazzy try Sarah's pasty shop looe banging
Lovely place have a brilliant holiday .
You would easily pay that parking fee in a lot of places in Australia.
I went there back in 2013. The parking was expensive than
Love your videos, we love Cornwall too . Please do more.😊
I went to the Eden proj you better off going to home base garden section right rip off
August 1988 walking around Polperro Harbour & I heard a loud slap cracking noise, My wife screamed out a loud scream. I turned & I thought someone had tipped a bucket of white paint over her head. Let just say dam seagulls & thank god cows don't fly.😄
Glad you're getting to see more of our wonderful country. Loving your vlog as ever. Enjoy x
Just wondering as to why you have parked across two bays ?
Buy a motorhome and you will understand.
Good video
Love you two. Enjoy your stay in our homeland. We live about 15 mins away from Newquay. Keep up the vlogs they are great viewing.

I would go there just for there pasties they are. Beautiful worth every penny. But it's too far to travel from north east been there twice . Lively place I am only driver so too much for myself. My woman in wheel chair now.

Not been there for nearly 30 yrs. Must go back. There was a museum at the bottom somewhere. Is it still there?
Yes 😁
Cheers.
Great video!!
I remember it well
Shame you didn't check out Trago Mills near (ish) Looe, fantastic place to shop.
I used to work there. Its a one of a kind shop!

Thanks Dan & Mazzy!!!
We are looking into getting a motorhome and have heard Cornwall isn't very motorhome friendly, how have you found it? Have a GREAT holiday xxxx
It's fine if you stay off the small roads. Don't trust your sat nav down here unless you can put your dimensions in.
@@TravelTrollsTV Thank you xx
Absolutely stunning, never been to Cornwall to be honest, long way from where we are in North Wales! Really enjoy your videos, thank you for sharing. 👍 best wishes to you both. X

Dan, I thought about you today when i was in the shops and saw a doner Kebab Flavour Pot Noodle 😆😆
Ive had a pint in the comfort of the blue Peter with a storm lashing the waves spraying the window, love Polperro and Cornwall
You missed out seeing the house with all the sea shells on the front wall in Polperro.Sham it's worth going to see it
Must agree with you & you're right to moan about the price of parking. Some of the charges are ridiculous. RIP off Britain.
Been to Polperro a good few times. About 5 years ago was the last time. Definitely the most picturesque. There's a lovely walk round the other side of the harbour. I don't remember the parking price being so crazy, 3 hours isn't enough to relax and have a meal. No wonder the car park looked so empty
Exactly. £12 is extortionate but it would be acceptable if it was for the full day so you could enjoy the place and have a meal down there.
I had a dodgy pasty in Polperro too…very disappointing
Absolutely Beautiful. Also spent some times in The Blue Peter Pub. 👍🏻🍻
Polperro looks beautiful. The flowers on the Hedge is Japanese Privit.
Lovely video🧔
So how long you in Cornwall for? I'm there next week - hope to catch up with you soon dudes

I remember you being there Dan. Been a subscriber since u were living in Germany.
We loved Cornwall when we went. I had to laugh when you described the Autograph shirt as a cheap label. Autograph is M&S premium clothing range for men. Morrison’s is really good for BBQ food 👍🏻
I reckon Dan's mistaking it for Atmosphere, the Primark label name!!!
Dan that bush at the back of your van was a privet, it is a terror for hayfever for many.
Food is high everywhere here in the USA
Parking fees put me of.
Why’s the sound pretty bad on sections of this video?
Good day to you lovely people.
This place is beautiful it reminds me of Port Issac I've watched too much Doc Martin 🤣
I thought you were staying at Hendra
Think you need to drink some of that beer Dan, make a bit more room in the fridge lol
Aldi prices has shot up to more than double. I got 2 bags for 60 USA $ that use to cost me 25.00

Mazzy squirrel stew is delicious! The meat is similar to dark meat chicken
I remember that video!
Polperro is stunning. What rally are you down for??

I'm caught up! I'm still up for adoption according to the Mrs, keep up the great work, with love from the states.
Shame they ruined it with the parking…outrageous!!
