You need to get back in touch with the hospital you were seen at and explain your living situation, you need to be reviewed for pain management and a unfortunately the pain from it being raised is something you need to try to cope with as that is the ideal position for healing right xx. Oh my 😳 I just came back from a short vacation and what must I see, Dan´s been injured ( bless him ) and Mazzy being a star by helping, organizing and taking very good care of Dan. A huge thumbs up for that👍👏 Dan, I hope you will feel better soon and have a speedy recovery. My mother ( 78 years old ) took a bad fall aswell and broke her left upper arm at three places, about 7 weeks ago. She had to have surgery and still is in a lot of agony on having pain. She also dealed with problems with the tissue around the fracture itself. So I can relate on your situation and kudos to Mazzy for taking care of you without hesitation. So sorry to hear, that your microphone for the camera has broken aswell. That´s awful. Please do not apologize, for the lack of videos for a while. Totally understandable and no one here would say anything negative about it, I am sure of it. Well I am also aware of, that it´s the source for your income, so that´s a stressful situation on top of what had happend. At least you´re staying on one campsite for a little while, that is a good thing. Also, bless Neil and Emma for reaching out. They are very good friends for sure! What´s particularly strinking to me is the fact to see that this might be the real Dan here we´re seeing ... don´t get me wrong, okay ... I am fully aware no one can act funny per usual, with excruciating pain, no doubt about that, so please no hard feelings, Dan... Oh no, poor Dan, I know exactly the pain you are in as I had the same break nearly 5 years ago. I had to sleep sitting up for 6 weeks. I only had the blue support and no cast. It was agony and I felt every bump in the road when I was in the car and found it difficult sitting and standing up. Wishing you a speedy recovery and well done to Mazzy for all her support. 👍😘xx
Oh no - as a retired Emergency Nurse I know that you have a nasty break there - and it’s hard as you have to let it heal. All the best to both of you from Brisbane Australia.
When they replace your shoulder they don’t put you in a case either. They put it in a much bigger brace and lots and lots of ice for 4 days. Ice really helps for shoulder replacement. They also will not let you sleep flat on your back till 6 weeks after surgery. People sleep in recliners or the mattress up at an angle. Doing those two things I was off pain pills in 4 days.

Poor you Dan and well done Mazzie for taking care of him. I had surgery for a hernia on my abdomen last Thursday so completely share your pain. I feel like I have been cut in half and am walking doubled over, cradling my guts like an 80 year old!!! A week later and I’m feeling a wee bit better, specially getting on and off the bed, spent the first 3 nights sleeping in the recliner as beds were so painful. I run a tea room with my wife so had to close, hopefully be back in a week or so as we have no staff and the bills don’t stop just because your unwell!! Best of luck with it all, what an awfull place to have an injury. Luv to you both, Carl, Jackie & Daisy xx

I recently twinged something in my hip whilst trying to stop myself falling over when standing on one leg during circuits and I have to say that I cannot believe how painful it is. I went out in the car today and found it quite painful just moving my foot from the clutch to the accelerator. Goodness knows how long it will be before it feels better. Be careful,and look after yourselves.

Any consolation 3wks ago dislocated my shoulder never felt pain like it .....but true Mazzy said you have to click shoulder back in place.whilst waiting for paramedic s I learned again the wall my pal Pam & there was a big crack my shoulder went bk into place,,no pain. The Paramedics,A+E, hospital were brilliant!!!!! 100percent spot on care.thank you 💗💙💗💙💗💙

Sending well wishes, Dan. Anything regarding damage to the shoulder is painful and surely you feel bruised and battered all over. A few years ago, my Husband fell 20 feet from a roof on to a concrete slab. The fall completely destroyed the ball and socket and required a full shoulder replacement. It also shattered his pelvis, requiring reconstruction with pins and plates. His recovery was painful and arduous, but he's done it and to look at him now, you wouldn't know that he's been through such a thing. Good doctors, TLC, therapy and his determination to get better, was key to his healing process. Despite the discomfort you feel now, I know that you too will mend quickly and be back to your fun loving self in short order. There is no rush to make videos, as your thorough healing must take precedence. Mazzy is your champion and you are in the best of hands. So relax and get better. We'll all be here for your next adventure. Praying for your speedy recovery. XO

Don't let something like this scare you from trying the board again though, it does indeed take practice, and you really had it going well for you. Just don't use pans as kneepads, get some real ones and get some wrist protection gear as well. Falls will happen. Anyways, you are a sport and I just love you guys. Mazzy made me laugh though with her lying on the board and falling off, but you guys are gold each time I tune in to your channel. Keep it up guys!
I'd love that skate board.. but at the age of 76... i would be taking my life in me own hands... Back in the 1950s.. I was on the back of a horse at my uncles farm, when I fell off the back.. and broke my wrist.. and had to walk a long way back to the farm house. It was a Sunday and a small village in the mountains of Utah.. took 3 hours before the Doc got in and set my wrist, and plaster it up... I admire Dan for toughing it up.. as we say here in cowboy country... "HE COWBOY'D UP"

Man I know the pain Dan! I fell of my bike one winter and I thought it was just a small fall. People asked me for help, but I felt so stupid and told them no, but I just couldn´t walk. Broke some muscles in my leg, hurt like hell for two weeks. It will get better though, keep on fighting.
Dan you are not a woose, My wife had the same injury, she would not let anything stop her but this did. I know what Mazzie has to do; espcially in the toilet department, I had to do the same. It was very interesting in even helping with the brushing of teeth. It took at least 4 weeks before things were near normal. I hope you feel better soon and Mazzie looks forward to not doing the a hole duties.
hope you get well soon - my daughter ruptured her shoulder ligaments having a hard fall at football it took about 6-8 weeks (and physio) before she could use her shoulder properly and drive again

Get well soon, Dan. I can identify with not wanting to feel embarrassed after injuring yourself. Been there a couple of times.

So sorry to see your 'Spill' Sending Healing to you! Can't help thinking there's a bit of Karma involved there, where Mazzy came off the Board and you were more interested in the boards condition! It didn't seem such a bad fall from what we could make out too. So be a Goodboy and do what Nurse Mazzy says!! :-)

Man I know the pain Dan! I fell of my bike one winter and I thought it was just a small fall. People asked me for help, but I felt so stupid and told them no, but I just couldn´t walk. Broke some muscles in my leg, hurt like hell for two weeks. It will get better though, keep on fighting.

Dan you are not a woose, My wife had the same injury, she would not let anything stop her but this did. I know what Mazzie has to do; espcially in the toilet department, I had to do the same. It was very interesting in even helping with the brushing of teeth. It took at least 4 weeks before things were near normal. I hope you feel better soon and Mazzie looks forward to not doing the a hole duties.
hope you get well soon - my daughter ruptured her shoulder ligaments having a hard fall at football it took about 6-8 weeks (and physio) before she could use her shoulder properly and drive again
