I went on a day trip to these two delightful places three weeks ago. Polperro is so pretty and charming I can see why artists love it. Looe is a regular Cornish town plenty of shops and a little beach.
Great idea to take a boat trip to visit these places. Looe been on my list for a while, would definitely combine it with Polperro. Lovely Rick pool find! 😍
Another amazing video 😊 Very enjoyable and informative and makes me really look forward to visting in a couple of years, when we are walking from Charlestown to Plymouth ❤ Thank you!
Polperro is a really lovely village, the real downside is the charge for the car park, of which there is only one available. We have been visiting this area for a number of years, the car park is privately owned, the proprietors are so greedy, the fees these days rise annually. As this video shows in September 2023 the minimum charge is six pounds for a three hour stay. Unless you are staying for a lengthy meal, the village and its' environs can be viewed in about one hour. The village is made up mostly of a single road over about half a mile. If your legs are not good, it is a difficult journey to make. Primarily, the very greedy car park owner spoils the day, be aware of this excessive minimum charge of £6.00.
Hi David, I think it’s a shame it’s gone this way. Surely there’s no need to put the pricing up, the overheads must be quite low, they don’t even have card readers on the machines…cash only, very suspicious 🤣
WOW !!-JUST BEAUTIFUL!--I WAS THERE MANY YEARS AGO,-THANKS FOR SHOWING,-JUST STUNNING.--
Cheers John glad you enjoyed it!
Love Cornwall, such a beautiful place, would happily live here.
Well, dreams can come true Ian!

Thanks for sharing Diane ❤️ sounds like a wonderful little trip!
That beach looks so cool!
Yes, the tidal pool is definitely the highlight though 🤩

Yes we would have taken boat trips for the day if we had accommodation over that way. But exploring by car for the day worked out just fine too!

Thank you Torunn! ❤️🙏🏼 we haven't had the chance to walk the SWCP this year but we will return and will do it if it's the very last thing we do!
We love Looe, although we have tried other places like Padstow and St Ives which are also beautiful, kind regards to you, Mark from Billericay 😀👍🇬🇧🇬🇧
Thanks Mark ❤️🙏🏼 thanks for watching 😊
Parking charges at Polperro are horrendous. Cornwall Council need a head wobble . Its disgusting. 😮 Great content 😊
I don't think it's managed by Cornwall Council... But yes we agree, that £2/hour is extortionate!
The car park is privately owned. Nothing the village community can do about it. Tbh is £2.00 an hour really that expensive for such a beautiful place?
@@DHDB1 Right? Got to expect people will make hay while the sun shines.
Going for the May bank holiday to Polperro, and I'm really looking forward to it, Great detailed video guys!
Awesome! Thanks for the support, wishing you a wonderful holiday!
Charlotte, you are a stunner, but you already know that. :) Seriously, I really enjoy what you both do. xx
Thank you David, we appreciate the support ❤️🙏🏼❤️
i live there and i find it so funny to see tourists "exploring" Looe
hah that's understandable. I grew up in Newquay but it's nice to explore Cornwall as a tourist sometimes!
BRO I LITERALLY SAW YOU DOING STUFF WHEN I WAS THERE (I was swimming with my dad) lol that's so cool
Were you swimming at the tidal pool as well?! 🤯
@@cjexplores well no I was in the sea at the beach with my dad
