Thanks for the review Mark. Do you find yourself using the desktop control, or do you think operating the light via the buttons are sufficient? There is a small cost savings, but I'm also thinking the desktop control consumes some desk real estate. My interest in this light it to reduce clutter on my desk.
Just ordered mine. I got the one without the controller (same thing just no controller). I have an overhead LED but it's on the very blue side and this is so much more professional for night work.

thanks for the review. I need a decent light because my desk is in the corner of the room where the light sucks. Will need to scan my pennies now to try this out. Also nice shirt. I've visited SW 8th Street in Miami a number of times and it is always exciting.
I prefer the Touch sensitive version with no extra controller ,because let's be honest , one of the point of these products is to not take precious desk space , and no extra cable.
I used to have a very cheap aliexpress alternative , wich is great and still works just fine, but unlike the Ben-Q , it just won't fit on a 49" Curved Super Ultra Wide so i have to upgrade.

Thanks for another great review Mark. How would this work with screen Calibration? Would you leave it on and calibrate and allow the calibration to compensate for it or remove it and replace afterwards?

Hi! Can it be placed on a monitor which is wall mounted?! I mean the screen bar fits the upper space between the wall and the monitor? Or what it should be the distance between the wall and the back of the panel to allow the screen bar to be placed! Thanks!

Besides, the excellent mics of the Studio Display are on top (pointing upwards) about 1.5 left cm (about half an inch) left and right to the camera and unfortunately they would be covered by the "patented design" clip. Camera and Mics of Apples Studio Display are so good, no additional gear needed for the intended use, that includes making tutorials. Is that clip heavy enough, to keep the bar horizontal, even if mounted about 2.5 inch asymmetrical in the clip?
You state 'no screen glare'? I can see a reflection on the top edge of you monitor which would indicate there is light spill onto the actual monitor screen.

Let me get this straight, he was concerned about screen glare when working with photos because of the light bar, but he praises the eye care feature, which shifts color temperature and brightness of the whole screen automatically LMAO. SHILLLLLLLLLL

What about monitors with very thin bezel. I had purchased the Baesus one, 1/3 rd of the price of Benq. But its spring is so tight that it puts so much pressure on the screen so it glows white from that area. I have a thin bezel monitor from LG. Sometimes with a lot of manual effort I am able to fit on the monitor by just touching the top portion of the bezel and avoiding the screen. But if I have to adjust it, thats a nightmare. Fitting it again that way its very difficult

cheer for the video, but what if you work with two or more screens? can it auto adjust the light on all the screenbars at the same time?
You would only need one in the middle, regardless of how many monitors you have. Unless you have a mega long desk and slide yourself across it to work on different things, then one would not be sufficient.
If you have 2 monitors, and you sit right in the middle, then you would just have to mount it on the very edge of one of the monitors as close to the middle as you can get.
Do you know what cable you can use to extend the USB C connection That's still allows temperature control and dimming for the Ben q?
Do we think this would be compatible with the samsung odyssey g7 32" curved monitor? My guess is probably not due to the length of the bar..? Any curvers got a suggestion
Mark, any way you make a video about your editing process with your tablet. There are a ton of videos, about the Watcon tablet with photoshop but I’ve yet to find a solid video that explains a workflow with Lightroom. Cheers my friends, love your work.

Yes, they work perfectly fine. Although for bezel-less monitors the clip may protrude 5mm on your screen
