At the pool and recreation center that I work, I deal with flush bolts all the time. I have dealt with hundreds of thousands of flush bolts every day. What I almost always like to do is set the closers where the inactive closes faster than the active.
Can you guy do an actual install. I want a video were my new guys can can watch on there time off to learn the install process. I'm a super on a major building project and its difficult to get all my guys trained in a timely manner.
Gabe-ATM- Yes I need an installation video for this Ives gravity coordinator. The Rockwell 1700 coordinator is a breeze to install. This ives gravity coordinator doesn't come with any instructions except the pamphlet give the coordinators measurements..
I'm a new fie inspector. I've found barrel slide bolts on doors marked with an Exit sign. The fire code states that slide bolts and flush bolts are not permitted. After seeing this video, I think I may have told business owner the wrong thing. Now I'm wondering the FC isn't referring to the barrel slide bolts (the kind mounted to the door that slides to the side of the door jamb)
This delivery method is more about a cute drawing demonstration than focusing on communicating the info in a clear and educational way. Maybe you are trying to make a 'boring' subject more fun, but I can't even finish watching this video because I'm going to look elsewhere to learn about flush bolts and not cartoon elephants.
Seriously, who is the audience for this? If you know what you're doing, then show us a video doing the work. A whiteboard is complete crap. It shows me you have no idea what you're doing.

Have to agree with others. Use the actual parts drawings are great for kids but really we need to see actual tutorials using actual parts... PLEASE
