  • The Mueller Hut track proved to be not only our most favorite day hike we have ever done so far (I know, big words), but also the most challenging. Those views at the end were 100% worth it though!

Still to do Mueller Hutt this Christmas break but I think Mt Taranaki is even harder. Nice video by the way!

Mt Ruapehu summit probably. (2797m) We did it in december without using the skifield lifts. Awesome video, deserves way more attention.

Did that climb a few years ago with my daughter. My legs ached for a week afterward but it was one of those days we will never forget. Thanks for sharing!

I completed the hike 6 years ago when I was 59. The weather was perfect, but there was more snow. It took me the whole day, but it was worth it. One of the best hikes in New Zealand & rivals anything in the Swiss alps. Thanks for the video to remind me.

thanks for the vid from an Aussie hiker. I am planning a trip this October, 2024 to hike South Island. Where is the car park situated please?. I have done a lot of alpine hiking, especially in northern Italy.

On December 16, 2018. I had the fortune to go up and make that impressive journey with a crazy rhythm for unpredictable time. I did it in 4 hours round trip being 8 hours and cursing like Gollun when climbing the stairs but at the same time excited by the visual greatness of that place and observing Mt. Cook, the sad thing is that I could not stay in the refuge Because the 3 days were heavy rain 🤦😭😭😭and I had to stay at the hotel but lucky to be able to see the museum of a great mountaineer like Edmund Hillary, in the Hermitage Hotel.😍. Enjoy forever all times experience😅✌️

Thanks Amy! I'm glad you think so! The camera I use the canon 80D, but the key is the lens I use, which is the sigma 18-35 F1.8 lens :)
