Very nice car....I'll take one in shark blue with the satin neodyme wheels and yellow calipers and stitching in the interior.
Love the painted front end although the 911.2's rear grille was much better than the 992's black plastic
wth 18 dislikes in just a couple of minutes? The review isn't even bad, in fact it was great! probably just some trolls trying to ruin other people's day

Is this pre-production model? Why does the sport chrono switch knob have "Drive Mode" written on it, instead of regular D, S, S+ and Individual options.

I watched this video because I wanted to see how was the car of a character of my story.
I am writing the chapter number 18 in "01/10/2022" (MM/DD).
Her GT3 Touring is yellow.
Another character of my story has a golden "Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster".

That car has such a beautiful side profile. It is very impressive that Porsche can make one piece sport carbon fibre bucket seats that can go up and down electrically. You don’t see that in much performance cars.

Very difficult to buy one even if one has the intent and the money. Dealers tend to sell them to people who buy a lot of cars from them. Many end up as collectors and not driven or enjoyed for their intended benefits… track. Many enthusiasts who would actually buy the car and use it end up side lined:(
Despite owning Two Porsches I don’t have a chance of getting one it seems.

Only problem is you can’t get one. As an owner of 4 Porsches including a GT4 the dealers are not willing to sell one to enthusiast owners, just there high end clients who then sell them on the used market a few months down the road. I have been trying to get an allocation since they were first announced, but will not pay $40-50k over sticker. I am really getting tired of Porsche dealers, they have abandoned the true Porsche enthusiast.

Should a regular 992 911 4S owner upgrade to this, that is the question. You loose 4 wheel drive, you loose rear seats (for kids), you loose panoramic roof, you loose comfort and it's daily livability edge, but... but... you get so much more of RAWWWNESS which is why we learned to love Porsche. And I reckon, in few years time, you save much more value on this thing compared to regular 911.
I like how Thomas has worn blue to match the car.

For looks I like the 991 Touring better. Specially the rear. But it seems like an incredible machine.

Thomas - I salute you for your honesty. I know from your reviews you have driven the regular 992 Carrera S and have enough common sense to spell it out in English: 'If you want to go for this one just for looks and say like hey guys i have a GT3 - do not do it - do not buy this car. Go for this one if you are using it on the racetrack."
The problem with this car is that prestige factor. Not many people really understand how stiff the ride is and day to day ergonomics go out the window. I don't care what the other moronic journalist like Matt Farah say but this is not an everyday car. If you plan on living on the track... then you have the right vehicle.

No point in getting this with PDK, the point of the touring is to enjoy driving and for that a manual is a must have. On the other hand the GT3 and GT2 RS are more track focused and all around meant to be driven fast thus PDK makes the most sense. Nonetheless Porsche keeps improving what has been the best all around car in history.
The only downside is how big it's getting to the point they do like BMW with the M4 and M2 making the latter, which would be the Cayman in Porsche's case, worse than it could beso it doesn't shine brighter than the big brother.
I suppose the title of this vid begs one question......What car is suitable for posers?
My suggestion is an Audi TT.........it even has a hidden cubby hole for a pair of hairdressers siccors.......or so my Piping Engineer friend and 2 time Audi TT owner tells me.
Great video Thomas. I wonder what % of customers would take up the option if Porsche offerred removal of back seat to increase storage in a regular 911. Must add at least 100l of additional luggage space.
