Wish I would of used a click or counted when I play drums but I just feel the time an the rhythm. The thought of doing that in my my mind .1234 i would just start to Wonder why I relly love my left shoe But don't care to much for the right one
Seems off but I don’t use any of that. I’ve never practiced either. I just had some friends that were great singers and Guitarist. I bought a cheap drum set. I played with them every day for two years straight. They called me, professional retard in the beginning now they call me Sugarfoot.😂
@@JuanderBoyMusic the click is there to keep everything in time. If it’s off the beat, there’s no point of using it. Your opinion doesn’t matter. Come back when you’ve played to crowds of 50k people.
@@bhutch216 wow! If the click is consistent it is not off, you can decide which beat it falls on. It is an exercise, not the click your going to use playing live. By the way, congratulations! Playing in front of 50k people is something just a few get to experience, regardless of how pathetic it is that you take any opportunity to let people know your accomplishment.
@@bhutch216if its to keep time who cares wich beat it is. Time is constant to the click independent of being hit on the first, second or whatever beat as long as its always the same one.
It’s nice to show how to start. It’s always missing. It’s an hard exercise though so it’s great to explain it slowly
Rob brown showed this like 20 years ago.

ok
Good for you ( guess).
Kind of defeats the purpose of the click if you’re guessing where the beat is.
If you are guessing you shouldn't be playing drums
