For those of us who are still new to crochet, how do we do increases? Is is strictly 2 sc in each loop? Or is it 2 sc in 1st loop, 1sc in next loop, 2sc in next loop, etc for each row/round?
The usual reason for doing this is so that the circle doesn't start to have corners in all the increases. Therefore, shifting all the increases every other row, results in a rounder circle.

Why break up the increases? Instead of 2sc inc 2sc why not just 4sc inc does it make a difference
