I am a true beginner and wanted to learn to crochet these because they are so adorable. I just started this project and I am now on my second coaster. After about 2 other tutorials, yours is the best! You are a fabulous teacher.
Thank you! It was easy to follow and I just finished one, I think I need a different sized yarn tho as it’s flimsy, but it worked up easy for me as I’m a beginner, can’t wait to make more they are for my sister in law for Christmas
I keep trying I’m new to this and I’m having a hard to keeping up and fallowing what your doing but that’s bc I’m just really basic beginner tho I have no idea how she’s doing the increase mb I’ll come back to it
Thank you 😊 they make a great gift for cat lovers, have you seen my new video for how to crochet the multi colored cat bum? ruclips.net/video/Pt0mnxyWlKM/видео.html
Hi I think the link for that video is in the description but here's the link for it 😊 ruclips.net/video/Pt0mnxyWlKM/видео.html it's the exact same pattern but you just change the colors as you go.
Hi everyone! I have made a Facebook page where you will get updates about new videos being released and where you can share pictures of how your crochet creations turn out 😊 Facebook Page: facebook.com/MummaJ-Crochet-102591182010138/
Great tutorial, loving the kiwi accent! My first coaster has a little haemorrhoid 😅 looking forward to making more, works up super quickly. I used 3g of baby yarn for a mock up, guessing you need closer to 6g of a heavier weight for a more solid coaster. Thank you!
this is a lovely tutorial but i have a question. why can't i tighten the bum in the beginning? when i pull on the tail nothing happens :/ does anyone know how i can fix this?
Ive been trying to figure this out for an hour lol, but I think I found the problem. When you first make a slipknot you should be able to tighten it by pulling the end of the yarn, not the yarn that you’re going to use to make the stitches. When you start making a slipknot and you make the loop, pull the end-side of the yarn through the loop to make the knot, instead of the other side. I can’t really explain it, I hope it makes sense! I didn’t know you had to tie the loop in this way I guess I’ve been doing that wrong 😅
I’m very new to crocheting, and I’m having a lot of trouble getting past the first 10 half doubt crochet stitches to start the circle. It does not look like the video, but I don’t think I’m doing it wrong. My stitches are so tight I can’t get my hook through them and I don’t know how to move onto the next step. Any recommendations to figure this out, I wanted to make these for Christmas presents 😢
I don't know how I can follow the same pattern twice and end up with two slightly different coasters. Ones tail is more right than the other is, even though I swear I followed the exact same steps. I honestly think my tension was different on the first one than the second one because I was more tense and focused
Mine turns out great, but when I work on the fur, it starts to turn in and won’t lay flat. Is it because of the size of yarn or my hook? My hook is a 3.5, and the yarn I’m using is a wool yarn. The label fell off. Is there a way to loosen it up? Great video! Thank you!!
This video was very hard to hear and it would've been better if there were written instructions on the screen. Had to rewind the video several times because I didn't know what stitches were needed and it was difficult to hear

Ah, perfection!😮💨🤌 The first video I ACTUALLY can understand something. Ty
I was just telling my husband the magic circle looks like a cat bum! Glad to see i'm not the only one. 🙂
Yah me too, ur not alone!😂
Ummmmmm... BUTT..... I think that's the point...... it IS a cat booty hole.... haaaaaa. 🤣🤣🤣🐱🐱🐱
Thank you for this tutorial, good teacher! These are for my daughter, she loves her fur babies!! I think she will like these. Have a great day!!
Thank you for your lovely comment 😊 I'm sure she'll love them

Very nice, mostly easy to follow; my tail turned out curly, but i really like how it turned out!
Thank you 😊 if your tail turned out a little bit curly ironing it may help
I did 4 of them and they are so lovely thank you for this video so easy to follow.
Thank you 🥰
Yours is definitely the easiest to follow for fairly beginning in crocheting. Thank you :)
Thank you 🥰 I try to explain everything but sometimes I forget to say something as I'm trying to remember the pattern, crochet on camera and speak 😅

Can you do a tutorial for the orange and white version?
I think she only changed colours

You might be using the wrong hook size or pulling the yarn too tightly

I honestly think my tension was different on the first one than the second one because I was more tense and focused
I've done that with patterns I've followed before or I get distracted and my tension changes 🙃
Great video and so easy to follow along 😍
I would like to see how did you make the orange ang white cat🥺😄
Hi its the same pattern but you just change the yarn colors as you go. ruclips.net/video/Pt0mnxyWlKM/видео.html
@@MummaJCrochet oh yes, I just saw when I continue scrolling ur YT channel, thamk youuu
So glad i found ur channel on the fb group! Im starting to knit and im going to try this
Do you have any tips for doing the fur pattern of the tortoiseshell cat in the thumbnail of this video? Thanks :)
Oh, I found your other video! Thank you for the brilliant videos!
Oh great you found it 😊
When i try to 'pull the tail tight' the hole doesn't really close, what have i done wrong? Ty
I only have a hot pink....
For the centre? It should be fine 😊 I would have used a brighter pink but baby pink was all that I had at the time
Nice

If I’m using a 10 ply yarn, should I go down a hook or up a hook?
Hi You would need to go up in hook size
@@MummaJCrochet ok. Thank you so much!
Great video! I’m definitely going to make this. I subscribed ☺️💕
Yay thank you so much 🥰
I've subscribed to your channel as well, yay your almost at 1000!

Hi yes! I could make a new video for this 😊

I tried to make it smaller didn't work
hi, does the increase meant 2 hdc in one stitch or 2 sc in one stitch on the 3rd row?
Mine turns out great, but when I work on the fur, it starts to turn in and won’t lay flat. Is it because of the size of yarn or my hook? My hook is a 3.5, and the yarn I’m using is a wool yarn. The label fell off. Is there a way to loosen it up? Great video! Thank you!!
Hi what do you mean when you work on the fur?
She uses a cotton thread.that’s why
is it possible to make the feet pointier and turn them into ears?

@@MummaJCrochet thank you! Already done 🥰

I just used 8 ply 100% cotton yarn
That’s so hard 😭😭
Hi, may I ask how many grams of yarn is needed?
can I use this pattern with Arylic red heart yarn? Blair
Yes it should work fine, you might just have to change hook size if red heart is a bit thicker
@@MummaJCrochet oh ok thanks so much you do such good work !!! ;)
Thank you 🥰
are you doing 2 increases following the the first foot? your words and actions aren’t matching up
what size yarn?
