    Lots of test flights with different settings.
    Preparations for future Cinematic FPV movies.
    The location is an ideal lonely place to test drones.
    Here you don't disturb anyone and have your peace.
    For the upcoming films we will go to the
    Faroe Islands and probably also to Italy.
    Italy also has super beautiful cliffs.
    We are very much looking forward.
    If you have any questions, just write :-)
    All questions about the topic will be answered.
    Greetings

    Looking forward to this next content Stefan 🙌 DJI FPV and you atached the gopro 10 right?

    • @Stefan.Zimmermann
      @Stefan.Zimmermann  2 года назад +4

      Exactly
      The internal DJI FPV camera is not bad, but still far from perfect. It makes no sense to experiment further with the DJI camera, it has too many limits. Therefore, the GoPro was additionally packed on the drone (+150 grams). The GoPro, like any electronic device, generates electromagnetic fields and unfortunately interferes with the drone's GPS. Therefore, the GoPro should be shielded with copper tape and electrically conductive adhesive. 80% of the electromagnetic fields come from the bottom of the GoRro. If you shield these, you have already gained a lot.
      Advantages of the Hero10 over the internal DJI FPV camera:
      - Better stabilization thanks to gyroscope data that is recorded into the video. With pure software stabilization and guessing vibrations it will never be perfect. This is how GoPros achieve the best stabilization in the world. No other solution can keep up.
      - Much better color differentiation
      - More wide angle
      - No propellers in the image, through the better location of the mount.
      - 5K videos, so you can compensate very well for image loss due to stabilization and ultimately get lossless 4K videos.
      - ND filters work perfectly with GoPro stabilization (DJI stabilization requires very short exposures per video frame and is therefore very allergic to ND filters).

      I use this copper tape. amzn.eu/d/6Ok1QC1
      The adhesive must be electrically conductive, otherwise it is useless (this is the case with this product).
      Attach piece by piece to the device. With a little patience, it works quite well and looks really good. The displays can be left free. The tape can be processed super well and accurately. The GoPros have the greatest electromagnetic radiation on the underside. Here everything must be covered. Unfold the mount and put the copper tape in the openings here as well. You can fold the mount back up to push the copper tape in. Cover the battery lid and the push button with tape. Cut the battery cover with a fine knife to be able to open it. The tape also holds very well on the rubber parts. Once you start doing this, you'll quickly notice how well it all works. The tape is much sturdier than you think and no comparison to a traditional sticky babd. It's really no problem and even fun to work with. After that, you don't lose the GPS at all. You can no longer see that a GoPro is mounted.

    Hey, what flight time u get with full gopro?

    • @Stefan.Zimmermann
      @Stefan.Zimmermann  2 года назад

      7 to 9 minutes, or about 7 km.
      You can save some power by turning off the EIS stabilization in the drone. Also by switching to FHD and low latency. This is no longer necessary due to the GoPro as a camera. The drone heats up only minimally as a result.
      This compensates for the additional weight of the GoPro.
      You can't tell any difference.

    Stefan❤️Ich bins. „Tigerian Mavic“ 🐅Hatte meinen alten Kanal gelöscht und mit Mallorcamavic nun etwas besser durchgestartet. Leider ist bei meiner Kanal-Löschung etwas ganz Blödes passiert😿! : Deine Email die Du mir gegeben hattest war leider weg, weil das den Google-Account natürlich gelöscht hat. Ich hatte einen harten Umzug und monatelanges Arbeiten in der Freizeit mit der neuen Wohnung. Du hattest meinen großen Usedom Drohnenfilm🛩🎞kommentiert erinnerst Du Dich? Wir hatten uns oft sehr schön unterhalten unter Deinen krassen Video. Dein Lofoten Film ist mein Lieblingsfilm von Dir🤩! Bitte schreib mir doch mal eine Email an meine neue Google Email👍🏻Wenn Du meinen neuen Kanalnamen siehst, kennst Du automatisch die Email😺Ich kann das hier nicht schreiben, RUclips blockiert sonst automatisch den Kommentar❤️Nutzt Du Deine Mavic 2 Pro nicht mehr? Lieber mehr FPV Lust bekommen🤗?

    Video sieht gut und scharf aus. Habe selbst eine Hero11 auf die DJI FPV geschnallt aber leider kleine Vibrationen die das Bild unscharf und nutzlos machen. War das bei dir auch der Fall?

    • @Stefan.Zimmermann
      @Stefan.Zimmermann  Год назад

      Wenn mit 1/60 (ND-Filter) gefilmt wird und es etwas windiger ist, können die Vibrationen im Video nach der Stabilisierung mit ReelSteady nicht immer vollständig beseitigt werden.
      Die Einzelbilder sind zu unscharf, um sie digital zu stabilisieren.
      Mittlerweile filme ich, um immer auf der sicheren Seite zu sein, nur noch mit 1/120. Man hat nach der ReelSteady Stabilisierung auch ein etwas schärferes Video in der Bildmitte, da die Einzelbilder durch die geringere Unschärfe wesentlich besser und ohne Verluste stabilisiert werden können. 1/60 ist nahe an der Grenze des Möglichen für ReelSteady und Drohne.
      Schaue mal hier ins neuere Video. Dort wurde alle FPV Parts mit 1/120 geflogen. Zusätzlich hatte ich noch KI Berechnungen für mehr Details hinzugefügt, aber auch die Kontraste wurden per KI korrigiert, um ein kräftigeres Bild zu erhalten: ruclips.net/video/_BPIpEVX3Kk/видео.html

    what drone is this ? what else do I need with it ? I have a GoPro hero 9. thank you

    • @Stefan.Zimmermann
      @Stefan.Zimmermann  2 года назад +2

      DJI FPV drone
      You can mount your Hero 9 with this:
      www.etsy.com/de/listing/976556435/dji-fpv-kombidrohne-gopro-action-mount-8
      The Hero 9 is also perfect for this.
      The 10 can do 5k in 4:3 format, the 9 can do 4k.
      GoPro 10 settings for FPV
      ----------------------------------
      Resolution = 5k 4:3 (Reelsteady converts 4:3 to 16:9 or if 16:9 to 21:9).
      Frame Rate = 30fps (60fps is not possible with 5K 4:3)
      FOV/Lens = Wide
      Bit Rate = High
      Color profile = Flat
      White Balance = 5500K +- 500k, depending on weather (Native has problem with color red, can't get it back even in post processing, so work with 5500k)
      GoPro color temperature recommendations:
      midday sun = 5500k
      cloudy or bad weather = 5000k
      sunset = 6000k
      ISO Max = 100
      Shutter 30fps = 120! (60 can't completely remove jitter in wind gusts or stronger wind = high risk for jitter, worth only in almost no wind)
      At 1/60 you will have a lot of motion blur. Sometimes too much of the good. At 1/120 I think the amount of motion blur is perfect. All shutter speeds above 1/200 are useless with FPV drones in my opinion.
      At 1/200 motion blur is almost non-existent and jello start to be visible in the image.
      Sharpness = low
      Protune = On (to enable manual seetings like shutter etc.)
      Raw Audio = Off
      Wind = Off
      HyperSmooth = Off (intere Stabilization / otherwise Reelsteady does not work)
      WLAN = Off
      GPS = Off (otherwise the gyro sensor will be disturbed)
      HindSight = Off
      Scheduled recording = Off
      Duration = No limit
      Zoom = 1.0x
      Video comp. = HEVC
      Brightness Image. = 100% (to better judge ND filter and shutter)
      Anti-Flicker = 60Hz
      Auto Power Off = 5 min
      Default Present = Last Used Video
      Filter
      ND-8 and ND-16: Good for cloudy days.
      ND-16 and ND-32: Good for days with sun.

      @@Stefan.Zimmermann wow thanks. do you like DJI goggles and remote controller to pair w it?

    • @Stefan.Zimmermann
      @Stefan.Zimmermann  2 года назад +2

      @New Horizon Drone Photography Not sure if I understand the question correctly?
      The DJI FPV Goggles V2 is fantastic. Sure, a few details could be even better, but there is simply nothing better on the market.
      Unfortunately, there are only DJI that can digitally transmit the video image to the goggles. Everything else in the FPV field still works analog. With this kit you can make other drones compatible with the DJI FPV Goggles: www.fpv24.com/en/caddx/caddx-nebula-pro-nano-vista-kit-digital-hd-fpv-black-mit-8-cm-kabel.
      The difference between analog and digital is gigantic. Yes, I like the DJI Googles a lot :-)
      The DJI controller could be better and I feel only mediocre. Here there are better on the market. At least if you fly with the DJI FPV drone, you unfortunately have no choice. But you can also live with the DJI controller, this is not so bad again.
      You could, if you want, fly 7-inch drones and the Vista Kit and a DJI FPV Goggles V2. There are Ready To Fly drones that are prepared with the Vista KIT and a GoPro mount. But it doesn't get any cheaper than the DJI total package.
      Did you happen to see this video of me?
      Here you can experience the DJI FPV with the Hero 10 nicely as a movie:
