My Mexican Fiancé LOVED this! The only changes that I made was that I doubled the spices and added ground ginger. I used 2 round 9 inch pans and Icing was with cream cheese Icing so that it would look like a birthday cake. Thank you for sharing this recipe!
This recipe sounds & looks delicious. I'm not a fan of oil in my cakes therefore I add 1stick butter (8tbs) & 1/4 cup crisco. I also use the standard cake mixing dry/wet method. *I used to use paper towel to spread butter on my dishes too... now I use a silicone brush. It waste no butter 😅
