ruclips.net/video/1nfTFcsjB-k/видео.html this one helped me a lot. If u get the hang of it, it is not that hard to get the clean snappy snare. also the noisy snaps are not that hard if u have some snap samples
@@STRANJAH sounds good. Something like the classic reese sound like out of City 17 by Ed Rush and Optical would be sick. And how to take a reese and make variations on it/keeping it more interesting using things like notch filters etc
Gydra is top for me right now but teddy killerz, red pill, zombie cats and Emperor are sick as well Also a huge fan of audio, ed rush and optical, current value and old school limewax.
I am learning more about the mechanics of DnB/Jungle from watching your videos than I've learned cumulatively from other sources, and your goofy intros are just icing on the cake 😜 You get right down to the important details in an organized and easy to understand way without all the filler that I've encountered elsewhere. Keep up the great work!
that supercharger vst has been in my library for years, and I just tried it cause of this. HOLY SHIT HOW DOES IT MAKE EVERYTHING SO LOUD. Living forever on by bass and drum groups

What I would love to see would be a magnetude inspired bass. Their production is insane and I have no idea where to start with replicating that crazy sound
and i just heard konflicts new world order when this recommendation popped. nothin but oldschool love for the dnb of the 90s early 2ks. not that some new kids are abd or so, but...
I will say more futuristic dnb/neuro is in my opinion the hardest sound to produce you need a good drum and bass ear to produce those basslines trust me I know I’m back in studio after 15 years away and bringing drum and bass into the future on a super new project 😄
Random comment here but I would really like you to check out on how Halcyon Cerebrum vol.1 makes their drum and bass style. Or you can just check them out, thats all I wanna inform you on
does sound like jump those. You should check out my cousin neruo dnb. He a Genius he on levels beyond this video. check him out he called Assonance. All is sounds made by him, he has loads of hardware. checkout Assonance FerroFluid
Can you please have one or two tutorials on proper neurofunk like state of mind, prolix, mizo, gydra? It´s super hard to find a good tutorial on those. Thanks!
I think personally, of course there are nuero tracks that absolutely bang and that any OG would play but in general nuero lacks soul for me, and lacks a vibe. Even the dirtiest foghorn tracks have a vibe. Know what I'm saying

Classic neuro - anything Ed Rush & Optical, Stakka & Skynet, Audio, new... a bit of Jade, L33, IHR, and Gancher & Ruin. The likes of Imanu and Buunshin are not my thing, but I'm intrigued by their sounds anyway.
I don't personally like this style of DnB, it is too processed, too loud, devoid of dynamics, squashed the fuck and un-natural sounding. Give me anything from 1985, Halogenix, Hyrogliphics and the like. DnB with heart and dynamics. Do that style please.
🚨🚨🚨 By the way, I know SKANTIA is not technically NEURO. But I was inspired off of his remix of Imanu's Nonplus track, the original which is the modern neuro sound I'm referring to. I hope the purists will be keep an open mind. I'll do a proper Neuro BSE style track soon. 🙏🙏🙏

Got a little question here, hope it's not too nitpicky :D anyway, in the second preset (fast arp), what is the use of making both oscillators a perfect fifth? I mean.. you could just play the arp 7 semitones up and get the same result :D Or am I missing anything? Thanks in advance for the answer and again, not trying to be that guy, just really curious if it makes any difference because I could understand the idea if there was third osc enabled at normal pitch so you get perfect fifth interval including the root note in one note, instead of using two.. so you could make it mono for glides or whatever.. Just curious :D edit* next part of the video made it pretty obvious, so sorry for useless comment.
Glad you ask, the reason why I do that is I'm building a multilayered instrument all triggering both sounds with one key. So if I want the arp at a perfect 5th I'll need to manually shift the key up in the synth. If you're playing it separately then yes you could just play the note outright.

Skunk Step (no offense, I actually dig the nasty bass 😂)
I call this techy dnb
@@TekFreak86 I like that name actually
Beuro DnB
Hybrid D&B. At least that's what I call it, and I make this kind of stuff :)
imanu and buunshin have their shit together in this style. the biggest thing i struggle with in this genre is the drum sound design
their sound design is next level for sure

Buunshin’s remix of Distance was amazing. Add that to your playlists people!
All my attempts at Neuro basses sound like wet farts so I’m gassed for this one 🙌
This one is a bit more subdued based on one of Imanu's tracks. I'll do a more fart based style neuro track soon.

I just saw an interview that they (imanu and another guy) are referring to it as future breaks
That’s a cool name!
Cuz I guess it’s not typically neuro anymore although it’s influenced by it. The sounds are more stripped down.
I don't really know if it is neuro or minimal but the sounddessign of Fre4knc is amazing!
stranjah always coming through with the sauce
thank you
Yo! Thanks for the free presets brother!! Awesome video
That Thermal VST is sick
It's a nasty lil thing
imanu is my favvv
With dnb playing in the background, you're on autoplay, you're in time with the dnb. Bro, your brain is 174 wired.
It's been 128 bars, you're still in time, most of the time.
Lol I live my life at 174 bpm for sure
Phace are awesome!
Favorites? Billain, Int Company, Malux are my top 3 right now.
Magnetude
Sick intro
skantia is the GOAT
I like your stuff, any chance for deconstructing Limewax tunes?
sure love his stuff
sick:) skantia really does have one of the most unique sounds ive heard in a long time
he's sick, brings that lofi-squat-rave sound with modern drums
Mefjus and kumarion
you make greatttt content!

Teddy Killerz, Joe Ford, Emperor, Mefjus, State of Mind

LMAO
It's middle class neuro, a bit too polite. I prefer my neuro to be more working class, rough round the edges.

Mefjus 100%
Any chance for OldSchool neuro bases? Or something like: Chook - Retrograde ?
yes will try
