Proud of you Kid-0! Just remember when flying XC, if you get lost find an airport, land get a cup of coffee and look for a magazine and read the address off it to figure out where you are!
Haha this is the ticket right here!!
There's nothing better than a night flight.
Not my fave, but that's ok!
Great job
Thanks!
Very good work!
Thanks Steve!
Good job Cally.
Thanks, Richard!
you did great! Even with the weather, you are making progress!!
Thank you!!
Beautiful
Thank you
2:20 pet peeve of mine. You’re on upwind and he calls base but doesn’t tell you what his intentions are (full stop? Touch and go?) He should’ve picked up that you were a little nervous and explicitly told you he was going to be full stop to spare you from having to worry about whether there was about to be a traffic conflict on crosswind.
Be mindful of the pilots you’re sharing the sky with, what their psychology might be, and spare them some needless distraction if you can. Especially students.
This is a great point! But also, he may have called another call and mentioned full stop and I edited out for sake of time. I can’t remember exactly. But a good point none the less.
@@AgAviationAdventures that is true. I didn't think of that until about three seconds after I posted. Nice flying regardless. :)
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ it so amazing
Another great job Calli
Wonderful progress toward your goal!
Thank you!!
We better get proof of that perfect landing next time lady! 😜 You know what they say, if its not on RUclips it never happend?! 🤣
Keep it up Cally!
Hey it was in there! Tyson had it on his phone 😀 thanks so much!

Thanks for the comment!
Very good
Thanks!!
Just took my first glider ride yesterday. Likes it so hope to be able to start my glider training soon. Good video! It’s nice to know what to expect when getting a license.
That’s awesome!! Good luck!
You’re getting to be an old pro at this Cally! It’s coming together for you. Time and experience are the best teachers. I appreciate your honesty about being nervous and really just in general. Honesty with yourself will always serve you well. It’s a joy watching you take this journey! Thanks for taking us along!🤠👍
Thanks Rob!! You sure are right about time and experience. Appreciate you watching and commenting 😀
Not boring at all wear your earplugs with that. Garret. I’m a loader in Iowa.
We double up with the ear protection!!
You are really gaining a lot. You will be ready for a check ride before too long.
Thanks for watching!!
@@AgAviationAdventures I enjoy it,reminds me of my youth. How is the weather out there today? Today is my dad's birthday I miss him so much. sigh...
@@AgAviationAdventures Hey when you going flying again the weather is great out here. You would think it should be getting better there
@@charlesdurham6793 spoiler alert, I’m actually done and did my checkride, I am just behind on editing videos 🙃
@@AgAviationAdventures right on
glad to hear that
Yah know what I'm thinking? you've got this. And you've probably already taken your check ride and have your P P cer-tif-ic-ate to learn,,,,some more. Yes-No? Cools non the less! i Wish i could turn back the clock a few decades! But Oh well, we're happy for you Cally 😊👍
😀😀 I am done and done!! Just a bit behind on editing. Thanks for watching!
@@AgAviationAdventures Nice, remember, everyone always says it's a license, or more accurately a certificate, to learn.
I'm in an area where there are always plenty of lights on the ground. On that trip to Watertown and back, where there areas without much on the ground where maintaining orientation would be difficult?
Hmm, you know there isn’t much in South Dakota but it wasnt so bad that it was disorienting.
This instructor seems to talk more than necessary, exactly when Cally must concentrate on landing. The protagonism at that time must belong to the student. My opinion.
Well, his job is to provide constructive feedback to help her fly safely, which is all he was doing (help getting on centerline, reminder to turn on landing light, and acknowledging her good job). It's not golf where you're supposed to stay quiet until the shot is made, he is instructing her through each part of this new experience to her.
I would agree with you, Dean. It is not unnecessary commentary and all pertinent to what's going on, which I did have with my other instructor quite a bit. It was a good learning lesson in being able to tune things out though. He's also building my confidence and reaffirming my actions which for me was very helpful.
@@AgAviationAdventures Yes. I think both your instructors so far are doing a great job moving from coaching you closely in the beginning to now only interjecting here and there now that you are becoming quite proficient at aviating. I think it was this video I saw your flight instructor cross her arms while you were performing the stall. What a symbol of her confidence in your skills! Keep it up, you're getting so close Cally!
