This is a brilliant video and brilliant narrative, I remember seeing TC release for pre order I paid for the ultimate and it cost me like £90 was it worth it no but I loved the game
Man the end of chapter 4 of LiS was such a plot twist…. And chap5 was so awful with the damn bad guy monologue. That being said, I still loved the game overall, the lore, the world, the characters. Even with the nonsensical one optional ending. True Colors I couldn’t even get thru. LiS2 was the same way. Just didn’t connect. Even After the Storm was boring. But True Colors was just incredibly boring. Maybe I should have stuck with it but man, Life is Short.
I've been trying to use ads to boost some of my videos, most of them immediately got dropped by the algorithm so I'm trying to push it a bit so a couple more people see it, hopefully people will like the video and not get too annoyed at the ads 😅
@@longpigpie3584 that's fair, I always felt that certain parts of before the storm moved along too quickly. The way Rachel and Chloe meet feels very natural, but the part at the park, and later the junkyard (if I remember correctly) felt a bit awkward for the amount of time we'd actually spent with them.
@@banquo yes 100% and the way that the first game talked about Rachel was so mysterious it made her almost a mythical figure. And to see her in a game where I already know what happens to her. I felt like the only reason I was playing was to see how they met and see what their relationship was like. And I’m going to be honest the first game made their friendship look a whole lot more special to me. Also I know part of it was that they couldn’t get chloes va back due to strikes and I know she’s supposed to be younger. But she seemed so bratty to me. Some things I did like however was how insulting people was like a superpower. And the d&d game was weirdly cute. Plus it has an amazing soundtrack.
That's why download the game for free ;) lol that game was not worth $60 sorry and for streamer mode they could've hummed the songs or something didn't even try lol... I really hope they make another game as good as the 1st games series.
Also I wish Rachel remained a mystery instead of them showing how Rachel and Chloe became friends it in my opinion Rachel was better as a mystery for us to wonder about and I mean she kinda was a bad friend Lol..

I believe Before the Storm definitely had potential, but it was more focused on Rachel’s mother (for whatever reason) rather than Rachel’s reasoning for ditching Chloe for Frank, and her relationship with Jefferson. I understand wanting the audience to have their own theories about Rachel, but I think it’s important for her intentions to be revealed..which was being manipulative and using both Chloe and Frank for favors. she not only manipulated in-game characters, but she managed to manipulate most of the audience to believe her and Chloe were a cute couple. Thats what I never understood. I don't get why so many people ship Chloe and Rachel together when Rachel never even had feelings for Chloe to begin with.

Your analysis is somewhat opposite to other analyses, mainly of both games' comparisons.
I Find Life Is Strange True Colors is shallow and boring. The best are still the original LIS season 1 and before the storm

Personally found the atmosphere, stakes and voice acting in before the storm to be some of the worst in the series. But each to their own.
