Great video! I could only spare 10 mins for the livestream, so I appreciate you uploading the full thing for us to watch in our own time too! Well done getting that GPU in there; lots of patience for a live build!
Great build can't believe you managed to squeeze that graphics card in that case. Love your live shows & keep up the the fantastic work you do Marcus & Carl you are both so informative & entertaining.
same... even though cablemods do sell custom made non extensions but replacements (which im going to buy, but orders are delayed currently so i have to daisy chain)
For anyone watching you don't need a Ryzen 9 if all you'll doing is gaming and normal PC use (browsing the web, consuming media etc). Even a Ryzen 5 7600X won't bottleneck the 7900 XTX at 4K. PC building RUclipsrs always go overboard on CPUs for their builds for some reason. They always tell us "just get a CPU that won't bottleneck your GPU" but they never follow their own advice for some reason.
Well i just bought a Red Devil 7900 XTX here in Germany ... they are in stock. The Merc 310 7900 XTX was in stock for some days now. BUT the price is not good. Same as a board partner 4080 right now :/. So you can get them before 2023 ;) ... but the price is not good unfortunately.
The overhead PSU shot was exactly what over been looking everywhere for. I'm connecting an ATX3 PSU (MSI A1000G) to an MSI gaming 7900xtx and can't find the correct way to connect it online ANYWHERE. I'm new at this, so be gentle... internet. My motherboard needs 2 CPU plugs and the GPU needs 3, but there's only four on the PSU. One of them is that new 12+4 plus that comes with a splitter into 2x 8 pin. Is it safe to use that as one and then another pcie for the third since this GPU has more plugs than any other card? 🤬
What’s your favorite aio cooler? I’m in the process of upgrading my system and going to get either a 7900xtx most likely. Just waiting till I can get my hands on one. Don’t need rgb either.
Do u think the Red Devil 7900x paired with a Ryzen 9 5900x gigabyte X570s corsair Vengeance pro sl 3600 I'm running the 6700xt Red Devil and had no problems
Actually i still use DVD/CD storage and it's not going backwards because nothing was wrong with discs, it was just hype and propaganda to give the user less control over their data storage. I use drives that can use MDiscs, which last a LONGER time. I heard people using the fake argument about which is more robust, and the fact is, with any data tools, you need to be careful and store them properly. I even have floppies because my samplers use them and it's a cheap, robust format. The point is, specs do not mean you get the listed performance.. I agree the prices should not be so high for larger, cooler GPU cards, yet it does make a difference to have something cooler for the long haul..
Started watching your Vids last week. Lots of inform to feed off of. I am starting a new build and last item to get is the video card. Leaning to the TUF 7900 XTX. Have you done a benchmark test on Star Citizen. Cheers
give me the bigger cards, give me a HUGE case, and make it consistently cool/efficient...I'll make space, and if folks don't buy them soon prices will drop..
Is there a any reason to go over to windows 11 as so much easier to stay with my windows 10 that works fine by the time they turn off support I'll need a new PC
im not gonna end up selling my gpu lol. that's why I bought a proper case 🤣. idk why ppl think they can fit nowadays high end cards on those tiny cases.
Would love a mouse mat but why for sale in the US ?, given the shipping costs and customs charges to the uk it would mean paying for nearly 3 mouse mats and getting one
Guys I'm looking at upgrading to a 4080 next year, I have 16gb of ddr4 ram and an i7 12700k, would the CPU be able to keep up with a 4080 or will there be a bottleneck? I play at 1440p 144hz. Just wondering if I need to buy an ultrawide to avoid the lower res bottleneck if there is one.
Depends on the game as each can hit the cpu differently. If the game you play has a benchmark tool, run it at the desired settings and see what it spits out. It will tell you what it can handle.
I disagree with your view on the GPU coolers. The better they cool the better the card performs. I got a 4090 that gets to 62 degrees, while my old 3080 ti would get up to around 80 at times. And the 3080 ti was a FTW3 card with fans running at 100%
First the 3 power pins cant be on same cord each has to be separate I'm not watching ur vid second u don't even have the best card or cpu for that card the fastest should be for gaming the ryzen 7 7700x 2 ddr5 motherboard pro b650 p wifi with the shapphire nitro + rx 7900 xtx vapor + and the case should be square ask chat gpt it keeps it cooler then liquid with fans and actually looks really nice. Plays everything ultimate. So gar every game has been over 400 fps without even a new monitor with a 2.1 display port. The graphics are sublime and I've yet to have an all amd built comp crash even once.
AMD cards suck they're overheating and draw 95W at idle... Now if that's cool with you then by all means but to me that's an unfinished product I just returned mine and got an RTX 4090 instead.
Next time Hold the Graphics Card as it would sit in the case roll it 90 degrees stick one end in the case then the other and then roll it 90 degrees back as you insert it into its PCIe- Doofus LOL
Great video! I could only spare 10 mins for the livestream, so I appreciate you uploading the full thing for us to watch in our own time too! Well done getting that GPU in there; lots of patience for a live build!
The PC Centric mouse mat is a thing of beauty 🔥😮 great work!
Look at that motherboard box....beautiful
loving that overhead camera
I'm already saving up to get myself a system like this!
Great build can't believe you managed to squeeze that graphics card in that case. Love your live shows & keep up the the fantastic work you do Marcus & Carl you are both so informative & entertaining.
I watched this to see what you did with those 3 8 pin slots on the GPU. Thank you for describing what you did.
me too....
same... even though cablemods do sell custom made non extensions but replacements (which im going to buy, but orders are delayed currently so i have to daisy chain)
I would honestly pre order the mouse mat if it would be available in bigger sizes.
Can you do a video about component compatibility please, love the live builds 💯✌️
power supply 1:59:57
i was done with pc builds 2019 no more pc upgrades over it .
still watching though if interesting videos cheers
Overhead cam, bless you young man 🙏🙏
You actually finished the gaming PC 😛😃🤣 you rock

Thanks! great video.
For 7900 XTX 850w power supply is sufficient?
Was gonna ask the same question
Looking back on this now, would the 7800x3D have been a better choice? Genuinely curious.
When can I see a finished build?
Great live stream, could only stay for a bit!
Can you get a foot peddle for the camera switching 😅 please lol

Love AMD, still have r7 2700x and rx590 and can play all games. )
I'm going to buy everything I see here and follow along. lol
Don't buy this model GPU
Imo I would for the pulse version or XfX.

Where can I get the same mouse pad, Hot wheels unleashed is way more fun than you would think
whats the best case with optical drive in white!!!
I watch the entire ad for you 😂
Could not get a 7900xtx so bought a 7900xt instead. Ah well... saved $200 CAD and still get a very good upgrade over my 6700xt.
Do u think the Red Devil 7900x paired with a Ryzen 9 5900x gigabyte X570s

Hi I have an old PC desktop 14years running windows 10 Acer built it's not upgradable I've been told ?
What's the approximate cost for that build? Thanks!
give me the bigger cards, give me a HUGE case, and make it consistently cool/efficient...I'll make space, and if folks don't buy them soon prices will drop..
I like the bigger cards
Great build, just a question, anything pc builders should make sure not to overlook
Don't overlook Runescape 3, perfect game for a 4090 rig.
Does it run well on a 3060
Is there a any reason to go over to windows 11 as so much easier to stay with my windows 10 that works fine by the time they turn off support I'll need a new PC
I don't know what it is but i'm always rooting for AMD.
Maybe it's the underdog stereotype.
Do a rx 6900 xt pc
Man the custom 7900xtxs are as big as a 4090 and draw as much power.
im not gonna end up selling my gpu lol. that's why I bought a proper case 🤣. idk why ppl think they can fit nowadays high end cards on those tiny cases.

$30 pre tax - then $46 inc tax and shipping, that's not really 3 times the price...
Most likely based on a combination of where most subscribers are based, and where the mouse mat companies are based.
rx 7900 xtx only pcie 4.0. not pcie 5.0?
Is it possible to build a mini itx system with this 7900xtx?
reference model 7900xtx is HOT
benchmarks?
Could u help me finding ...
I just want red devil xtx...

I think you’ll be okay with the i7 12700k for lost gaming but with the 4080 the i9 is often recommended.
you will be fine just make sure you have 32gb of RAM and 850w or better power supply i have same cpu but DDR5 32GB
I disagree with your view on the GPU coolers. The better they cool the better the card performs. I got a 4090 that gets to 62 degrees, while my old 3080 ti would get up to around 80 at times. And the 3080 ti was a FTW3 card with fans running at 100%
The 4090 is also MUCH quieter. I bet I could keep it in the 50's if I kept the fans at 100% like I had to with the old card.

Does the Amd chips still take forever to boot with ddr5
First time yeah
@PC Centric does it damage the pc at all? I'm just worried that hard shutting it down will damage it or will it be fine if I just wait?
Windows keeps uninstalling my damn driver's!
Red Devil
in europe the graphic card costs 1136 euro ...
Its now 1050, what a deal ammiright
UK is £890
hey i want to build a pc with a lot of hard drives so it can support gaming and streaming and art and vr how would I go about this
Sad ... no performance numbers at the end as promised ;)
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍PC god
I’ll take one off your hand 😂lol
HI
Why would you tell someone it’s perfectly alright to use outdated tech in your 4000 build. Hmmm don’t do that lol
1 word y
Greta GPU until you turn Ray Tracing on lol
Nice... But we cant buy 7900 until 2024.
They are getting to large!
Asus board? RIP
AMD cards suck they're overheating and draw 95W at idle... Now if that's cool with you then by all means but to me that's an unfinished product I just returned mine and got an RTX 4090 instead.
What a joke
