Agree with you, by all means & for all purposes Jimny is more practical car than Thar.... Infact Jimny is a big hit all around the world ....

Today had a test ride of Jimny.. 100% marvellous for off roading… just hatts off! Pricing is bit overpriced… but car is superb

Drove jimny 3000km soo far... I liked jimny better (sold thar 3months back)
On highway got 20km/l mileage at 62.5km/hr cruise control)
I have automatic varient.
There are few issues but are manageable.
I feel this car can take over 1lac. Km and will remain same as first day...
Jimny is a good decision who actually want to travel.
Thar 50l tank do a 450-500km run on highway for petrol automatic.
Jimny 40l tank do a 600+ km run on highway.
Body roll is 60%less.
More reliable to thar and quite peaceful too.
Anyone who had doubts please test drive jimny before buying thar blindly.

2. I am fond of Jeeps and liked Jimny. What’s your advice about buying Jimny and which model (automatic is preferred). I will be driving mostly in cities or highway. Will Jimny be good for city and highways also?
