I have done 24000 kms..incl offroad ..its an amazing vehicle..i have a 2018 gypsy also.. Jimny is a gypsy with comforts😊😊😊. My Jimny AT gives mileage of 15-16 on highway and 12-13 in city. No need to change tyres. Stock tyres are good enough for normal offraoding on snow and sand. For mud the best size is 205 AT/MT. Full Service charges are less than Rs 4500. Spares are cheap. .

Purchased Jimny last year.... Done 15000 km plains mountains interiors of Himachal with 05 adults and 02 kids fully comfortable robust and practical off roading vehicle.. Fully satisfied with my Jimny

This Jimny is also actually meant for hill stations of interior North-East India however, it's too expensive for average income rural people out here otherwise Jimny will be off road King. Should avoid unnecessary accessories and on road price should be below 10L if they actually want to see high rate selling.
Its below 10lakh only if government remove the taxes. There are 40% taxes only in this price
Jimny is great car for rough / narrow roads (offroads) on hills and mountains, though neither suitable for urban families nor for showmanship minded folks
Sir, your mileage stats. are lucrative yet untrue. 17-18 on city is unimaginable. I have Alpha AT, almost stock and it gives 13 max in city and 14+ in highways.
It comes down to single digits in B2B traffic in city scenario
AT consumes more fuel than the Manual.
Brother torque converters are not fuel efficient

It may sound like its failing in India but that time will come for the Suzuki Jimny especially in hilly areas and small roads
This year till date 22000 units of jimny are exported from india to other countries because in India people prefer to show off over getting a quality product. But i use jimny and i know its capabilities

With the 215/75/15 tire upgrade, my automatic Jimny never gave me more than 9 kilometers per liter in the city and 12.5 kilometers per liter on the highway, even in two-wheel drive.....I have driven my car for 10,000 kilometers.

Har gaadi sabke liye nahi hoti agar aap real offroading karte ho toh aapko jimny ki capabilities pata hongi but aap logo ko show off (Chapri pana) karna hai toh mahindra ki koi bhi gaadi le sakte hain

Great insights about the car, Jimny no doubt is an amazing car for the people who want to use it for purpose it is built for. And your observations about behaviour of people while driving so true that how people feel badshah as they sit on the driving seat. Can I ask you a question that how much pressure do you maintain in tyres? I have bought Jimny recently changed tyres to 235 Appollo aptera and getting mileage if 10 in city and 13 on high ways. I am keeping tyre pressure as 30 psi
The tyres you are having are approximately 8kg heavier than the stalk tyres so you have to maintain atleast a pressure of 35 psi for good mileage. 😊

Buy and put a throttle controller and Jimny becomes a great highway car also. ALso, it is a great car for city also even without throttle controller.
