You are right one thing they should do is add usbc ports on the clipper and trimmer they wot need the charging dock if they do that. The clipper is really good it’s my workhorse.
Good review. The babyliss gold blade and the sc xpro with the one cutting blade are top notch. Don’t need anything else. All these companies are out of control as of lately and expensive. I do want to try the tpob trimmer blade though. Thanks for the review big guy 🤛🏾

But there was something so satisfying about taking the battery out and snapping it into another tool… Lol I just have the JRL magnetic Matt that holds about six clippers I keep a couple of FX one charging docs on my station. And it just makes your station look really clean. I think the FX one tools are absolutely top-notch. Best tools I have ever used.
The battery last a long time, it takes 5 seconds to swap batteries. I don’t like charging stands because they make the clipper stand up right and that’s bad for the machine as oil can hit the motor. I prefer the Magnetic Mats so my clipper stand on the blade any excess oil can run down and out of the blade away from the motor.
As someone with zero skill cutting their own hair at home, does it make sense to buy a 'higher end' product like this or should I just go with a cheap Wahl?
To me this platform doesn’t make sense for a not barber but the standard fx is great, Andis black label GTX or stylecraft saber. Do go big box store it’ll crap out on you in no time
Nobody uses one trimmer anymore.. I think the idea is great. I have a extra battery and other tools with the same battery if for reasons I run low . I like babyish but not huge fan . Love new technology
what do you think about the black fx3 trimmer, got a buddy letting it go for $50 and im so tempted lol, he also has a influencer edition (loscutit) trimmer kinda like the skeleton fx and boosted+ lol for $80 dont know which one to get

I get that too. Different work flows ya know. But it only takes me 1 second to drop a trimmer in a dock. Thanks for sharing your perspective

Get the magnetic mat for your clipper. I don’t see the problem with the battery.
Like I said, it’s just my opinion but they gave us an extra step that takes both hands

Fx3 is a phenomenal trimmer. $50 is a steal and that loscutit trimmer is also a crazy deal. But versatility goes to the fx3 on my opinion
